October 7, 200618 yr Sexy Open Door did 32,000 in its first day and is on course to enter at #2 this week behind The Killers. Its also gaining quite a good lead against the Scissor Sisters. In singles CMWYS has fallen to #10 the last time I asked on Haven so here's hoping it can hang on in there I don't see its overall sales being that strong tbh seems its done 17,000 this week and baout 4,000 on downloads the week previous.
October 9, 200618 yr # 2 in the UK with 94,000 sold # 1 in Australia, ahead of The Killers and very popular australian act Jet new releases
October 9, 200618 yr I am very pleased with sales for the album  I mean that total would have made #1 on countless weeks this year - abum sales are increasing and its a $h!t week for albums this week so I hope they at least stay top 3 :D I also heard it looks set to be #1 in America.
October 10, 200618 yr Could still be top 3 this sunday. <3 Edited October 10, 200618 yr by Eyes Wide Shut
October 10, 200618 yr Yay I guessed the Scissors would overtake it but I hope it stays top 3. It's a definate top 5 though. I doubt the single has fallen TOO much with their being hardly anything out. I hope not :( Merci beaucoup Gary
October 11, 200618 yr That's amazing :o Is that normal figures for the US market or slightly higher/lower?
October 11, 200618 yr Surely it must be fans of Fallen buying it as their new single hasn't really done very much.
October 13, 200618 yr Graham albums change all the time, some very established artists have huge debuts, e.g. Beyonce almost 600k and Justin almost 700k first week... Its a very respectable debut, considering that CMWYS hasn't set the charts alight
October 14, 200618 yr Also Fallen has entered back in the UK charts at 35 since the release of TOD. Just incase that hasn't been posted elsewhere.
October 26, 200618 yr The album debuted at Number 1 in USA, Germany and Switzerland. It debuted at Number 2 in UK, Netherlands, Austria, Venuzela, Italy, Isreal, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand and France. It became #1 in the United Word chart, beating The Killers. The album sold 447,000 copies in the USA in it's first week. So far across the globe, The Open Door has sold 1,170,000 copies.
October 28, 200618 yr Evanescence is spending it's 3rd week at #1 in the world. Their sales have now gone up to 1,474,000
October 28, 200618 yr Evanescence is spending it's 3rd week at #1 in the world. Their sales have now gone up to 1,474,000 Good news, that means that they will continue down the more adult, Hard Rock direction.. Perhaps even experimenting more and getting even heavier in the future... The difference between "Fallen" and "The Open Door" is almost on a par with the difference between "Nevermind" and "In Utero".... Perhaps Steve Albini, Andy Sneap or Rick Rubin to produce the next album....? I'd love to see Amy do a duet with either Mikael Ackerfeldt of Opeth or Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle), it would be beautiful....
