June 20, 20169 yr If I Were Sorry is doing pretty well in Germany still at the moment, I presume radio there have picked it up. I still think it could have been at least a top 20 hit here with radio support, but of course that was never going to happen in the UK. He'd have been more likely to get that if he hadn't released the song via Eurovision, as I still think it would have been big in Sweden and *may* have then crossed over organically. June 20, 20169 yr Author Radio would surely have been behind it in the UK without the Eurovision tag :( such a shame really. Still, it was the highest charting Eurovision song in the UK of 2016 so not tooooo bad an outcome.

June 21, 20169 yr I agree, I read that comment earlier and at the time I couldn't comprehend why someone would make such a nasty comment. Fair enough if you aren't a fan of someone's music or even their personality but to attack someone's appearance, especially for something that they have little control over, is uncalled for. I imagine people on here, such as myself, suffer from similar insecurities and comments like that do nothing but make those insecurities even stronger. In regards to this song, I am very excited to hear it. If I Were Sorry is one of my most played songs of the year, even though it admittedly took a week or so for it to click with me as I'm sure you can all remember, and I'm intrigued to see if this can have the Spotify success that song had and perhaps give Frans a second UK top 200 "hit".

His team seemed to handle If I Were Sorry pretty well in terms of Spotify, it was on all the top playlists and charted in the top 200 off that alone for a few weeks, so if they do the same here, he'll surely be able to get another top 200 hit to his name at least! Part of me hopes radio won't turn a blind eye to this seeing as it's not for Eurovision, and If I Were Sorry had its followers outside of the contest, but realistically that's unlikely.

June 22, 20169 yr Pepperoni face comment is a bit low. Judge a person on their song or something they have said but never on how someone looks. Lose comments like this is where we have huge problems around the world and i understand Frans wont be reading this forum but it should not be a comment any one should post.
June 23, 20169 yr Author This is out now, it's certainly not as good as If I Were Sorry but it's got a similar chilled vibe which I really like, it's certainly catchy too, so a solid follow-up! :D Will post a link when one's available.
