18.) "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" from The Wizard Of Oz

Correct: Richie, PaulM1983, Jade, UV, Jonjo, Riser

Incorrect:

Josh (Mulan)

No Answer: HarryEzra, Mack, Jahq

The Wizard Of Oz is also another iconic movie musical, in fact so iconic that it spawned two spin-offs: the cheeky and groovy The Wiz, and Wicked, the musical that gave Idina Menzel a reason to defy gravity. Seeing Judy Garland look out the window and sing it has got to be one of the most endearing scenes in any movie musical. A lot of you followed the yellow brick road and got this, while some of you are probably thinking, "If I only had a brain"...

Don't know what Josh was thinking when he thought of Mulan but okay.

19.) "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Misérables

Correct: PaulM1983, Jade, UV, Jonjo, Jahq

Incorrect:

HarryEzra (My Fair Lady)

No Answer: Richie, Mack, Josh, Riser

I dreamed a dream that at least half of you would get this. I guess I was right. Hearing Anne Hathaway sing this is probably the most beautiful thing ever. Harry guesses My Fair Lady, which has nothing to do with Les Mis unless we're talking about similar sounding songs.

This feels VERY mean on poor Josh given that the clips were never labelled

Jahq. I'm very surprised you didn't get 'Seasons Of Love' due to Glee! :o

I do recognise it now, but I can't say it was ever a Glee cover I paid much attention to!

Grease & Mamma Mia  Saw West Side Story for the first time two months ago as my cousin was in a local production of it but of course I knew "America" before that (even prior to Glee I think)

"Paradise City" probably has been used in The Goldbergs  idk but it's 80s anyway so it has that sound and I've no doubt heard it elsewhere given it's not a musical specific song. Not really seen anything that I'm kicking myself over, those I didn't answer I haven't seen.

20.) "Cell Block Tango" from Chicago!

UV ("Be Italian" from Nine)

I met Toby from Ireland about two years ago, and he told me he was singleand we hit it off right away. So, we started living together. He'd go to work, he'd come home, I'd fix him a drink, We'd have dinner.

And then I found out. "Single" he told me? SINGLE MY ASS. Not only was he married ...oh, no, he had six husbands. One of those guys who wanks the dogs, you know. So that night, when he came home from work, I fixed him his drink as usual.

You know, some guys just can't hold their arsenic.

All joking aside, this is one of my all time fave musical numbers as well. Just the idea of six women confessing to crimes in a sort of burlesque way just seems so appealing. Anyway... Funny Girl? Also I think UV will probably scream because this is from Chicago!

Bonus question up next!
