June 23, 20169 yr Decoy and Brighter :heart: Proof is lovely too, FIMC sounds cheesy but it's fun nonetheless, I love how it sounds like Rihanna's one too both lyrically and productively. Last Hope is probably an 8 for me now oops :kink: In The Mourning makes me feel sad so I don't listen to it too much but it's really sweet, lol at all my low scores being revealed now also :') Hopefully AIW doesn't win as I only gave it 7, FAPIPO to win though :wub: Edited June 23, 20169 yr by spun

June 23, 20169 yr Proof finishing 6th is my ultimate highlight of this rate, glad to see I'm not alone in declaring it the best album track of the debut :D So beautifully catchy.

I think out of all Paramore's songs, this is the one with the most impressive vocals, so much so that Hayley is reluctant to perform it live as that massive high note (im sure you know the one ;)) might wreck her voice for the rest of their set, I do hope one day they do get over that fear though and play it live, it's the only thing I can think of that would make this even better than it already is! :wub: viEh8i8Dij8 2nd | Let The Flames Begin | 9.55 LS: 8.5 [spun, Adrian & Harry ] | HS: 11 [Jacob & Regina] This is 100% one of the best from Riot!, every time I think of this song I think of how they perform it live, as that's just something else, it's incredible, hence why its a live version I've included above ;) The 'oh father' outro they add omg :heart: This song only emphasises the fact that Paramore is a live band first and foremost, and I love that they think about how their songs are going to translate from the studio version to the stage which is always really evident in a lot of their songs, especially LTFB. I can't not talk about it without mentioning Part II though, in case you didn't know, Let The Flames Begin is what that follows on from, again it's really a live thing :lol: which means :kink: .... B1o2UCLvD38 :winner: 1st | For A Pessimist, I’m Pretty Optimistic | 10.18 :winner: LS: 8.5 [Lindsey] | HS: 11 [spun, Iz, Harry & Liam] oops trust me to be the lowest scorer of the winning song :lol: 8.5 is still a REALLY good score to have as the lowest though :') For A Pessimist is just an incredibly solid rock song, full of angst and attitude it's got everything that a good Paramore song has so It does make for a worthy winner! June 23, 20169 yr What a stunning top 2, Let The Flames Begin is an excellent one to not want to win as it's a fantastic track in its own right. But that means the RIGHT winner in For A Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic. Not just one of my favourite Paramore songs but one of my favourite songs ever, a stunner of a track to open their best album, I can listen to it over and over again and to see it finish with a score of over 10 is indescribably amazing :D (*.*) Thank you very much for bringing this to fruition Lindsey

June 23, 20169 yr I have a feeling people were harsher on those singles rates so that they were more spread out. :lol: 'Emergency' and 'crushcrushcrush' being so low against those is CRIMINAL. Fairly pleased with these results overall, glad that The Singles Club tracks all did really well, my only irk is that 'Last Hope' didn't win (probably my favourite Paramore song, full stop).
