July 7, 20169 yr Cartoons these days are the most bizarre things I've ever seen. My vote has to go to Breadwinners. Like it's good for the first five minutes and then it just becomes a little too much. (I would say something like Adventure Time or Steven Universe because they're equally as weird but I love both of them a lot) That Arnold series with the melonhead and the crazy psychotic girl in pink..... it terrifies meHey Arnold! was my LIFE when I was a kid. I miss the days of when children's TV shows were this good. Like now it takes a really good cartoon for me to get into it. The last one I can think of is either Phineas and Ferb or The Legend Of Korra.
July 7, 20169 yr Courage The Cowardly Dog was another weird CN one, but more creepy if anything! lol I remember Courage The Cowardly Dog, I used to watch that a lot  the intro for that cartoon always made me laugh
July 7, 20169 yr Author Without any question the weirdest show I remember is Angela Anaconda. I mean just look at that opening sequence: utgXR6k-P1s Courage The Cowardly Dog was another weird CN one, but more creepy if anything! What the hell is that?
July 7, 20169 yr Thanks for creating this thread Mack by the way. It's bringing back some good memories for me, right now I can't think of anymore weird children's TV programmes but if some more come to my head then i'll post them here.
July 7, 20169 yr Author This is disturbing: 87NHueHBHwY Noseybonk saw this on It Was Alright In the 80s. How this is for children?
July 7, 20169 yr I would have to say rosie and Jim  Creepy doll things. Oh wow that's a blast from the past, never knew how much they eerily resembled Amy Winehouse & Ed Sheeran!
July 7, 20169 yr Ika I Rutan: " data-tag="youtube" data-tagfull=" "> Bitch basically had multiple personalites and used to argue against herself! Oh and I remember a tv show that stuck in my mind where a guy breaks his legs and the leg literally fell off with the blood pouring from it! Since then I've been afraid of breaking anything to the point of paranoia. I don't want my limbs to fall off! Oh and Moomins (in general). We apparently eat a lot of mushrooms in Scandinavia.
July 7, 20169 yr I would have to say rosie and Jim  Creepy doll things. rosie and gym, rosie and gym, had it off in a biscuit tin.. lol i'm sorry that's what i used to sing
July 8, 20169 yr Re: Courage The Cowardly Dog, there is a character called "Dr Vindaloo" with a thick Indian accent. How racist is that? And there's nearly a hint of domestic abuse between Eustace and his wife Muriel in the cartoon as well but when you're a kid you don't realise these things  ?v=6-szoMno44E Edited July 8, 20169 yr by Hazza Chapman
July 8, 20169 yr 'BooBah' is one of the most horrifying TV shows ever. WTF even was that!? But more recently I think it's fair to say 'Adventure Time' is quite possibly one of the weirdest kids shows!
July 8, 20169 yr But more recently I think it's fair to say 'Adventure Time' is quite possibly one of the weirdest kids shows! You have to admit there is something appealing about Adventure Time despite it making no sense whatsoever.
July 8, 20169 yr Adventure Time <3 <3 <3 <3 So amazing in all its oddity, that's its strength. But it definitely would qualify here. Boobah though omg
July 8, 20169 yr Author That Pingu episode with the walrus was banned in the UK. That was seriously weird and creepy indeed. And that episode with Pingu got lost with those ice statues was pretty weird also.
July 8, 20169 yr The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy ?v=bvgpwCqRZhY I LOVED that show  Though I preferred it when it was Grim & Evil (if anything, the Evil Con Carne sections were even weirder as it revolved around the brain of a crazed dictator inside a circus bear plotting to take over the world on an island shaped like a rabbit). Also love Courage The Cowardly Dog too <3 Did genuinely terrify me at points though. The Teletubbies really was quite freaky looking back on it - four different coloured...things in a world with no other life except rabbits, an alive hoover and a baby-faced sun along with talking watering cans giving them orders? The concept sounds like some weird post apocalyptic, drug infused shit there (similar with Tweenies) Edited July 8, 20169 yr by Chez Wombat
