little known but very talented female Irish-singer songwriter Lisa Hannigan

is back with her third album, At Swim, out on Aug 19, co-written and produced by Aaron Dessler from The National

she started singing with Damien Rice, then flew solo and released two incredible little albums, Sea Saw and Passenger

she's really talented, sings like an angel, makes great melodies and she's gorgeous <3

Ooh. I like her album 'Sea Sew', used to listen to that quite a lot. Might check this out (and her second album as well).

I watched my wife walk down the aisle to Lisa's version of Moon River.

We both love the song and reckoned her version is our favourite :D

think I only know this version from Other Voices

 

Ours was a different performance (somewhere else on Youtube) but very similar.

surprisingly this is top 20 in the mids, amazing album!!! very cohesive and a great collection of truly amazing songs
