Posted July 8, 20169 yr Drake is now just three weeks away from equaling fellow Canadian Bryan Adams' record for most successive weeks at the top but how much longer do you think it can cling on for? I reckon it's hard to guess becuase Kungs have always come close to dethroning him.
July 8, 20169 yr No more than 14 weeks Major Lazer is out next Friday. Should walk it the track could easily smash 55k and more
July 8, 20169 yr Gonna have a punt at this being his last week I think Kungs might just increase the streaming gap enough.
July 8, 20169 yr No more than 14 weeks Major Lazer is out next Friday. Should walk it the track could easily smash 55k and more It's been pushed back a week to the 22nd! So I'm saying 15 weeks. Although I'd LOVE The Chainsmokers to sneak a week.

July 8, 20169 yr If the Major Lazer track is good then I'd be happy to see it at #1, if not then I'd rather it didn't just crash in at the top on name power alone. But either way Drake NEEDS to go now, I assume it's at least gone gold on pure sales only now which is something but he has long outstayed his welcome. Could be out of the sales top 20 and still #1 in a few weeks at this rate! I do think he'll be #1 for 15 weeks but I'd welcome a pleasant surprise from Chainsmokers or Kungs (reduce the damn track to 59p to offset the fact that Drake is picking up streams by not being on Youtube still :drama:).
July 8, 20169 yr Jonas Blue are no1 on ITunes this week and did well with their last song so hopefully Drake will be knocked off next week. It really doesn't deserve to be no1 this long for such an awful song when it will sit alongside classic hits like the Bryan Adams song. Edited July 8, 20169 yr by slowdown73

It really doesn't deserve to be no1 this long for such an awful song when it will sit alongside classic hits like the Bryan Adams song. yeah... about that. Jonas Blue is only at #28 on Spotify at the moment, and considering Kungs had been at #4 all week and still couldn't topple the mighty Drake, neither will Jonas. Let's not forget Drake is still getting over 40k chart sales per week from streaming alone. His numbers aren't falling much week-on-week. -x- DRAKE "ONE DANCE" STREAMING SALES WEEKLY [for his weeks at #1] 1. 23,217 2. 70,796 3. 78,582 4. 89,464 5. 83,682 6. 75,497 7. 66,782 8. 61,518 9. 56,031 10. 47,714 11. 46,730 12. 45,416 13. 45,357
July 8, 20169 yr I've been championing Drake on a little the last few weeks for the 10+ weeks record etc and that it wasn't awful but not brilliant either type thing but I'm beyond tired of him hanging on now so to answer the question maybe 1 more week and that be it done please. Fresh #1 please. Wouldn't against Chainsmokers or Kungs (although i think its definitely over for them now) or the other Drake track at the top for a week only!
July 9, 20169 yr We'll get a new Prime Minister before we get a new number one at this rate. And in both cases the new will make us miss the old. Edited July 9, 20169 yr by Taylor Jago
July 9, 20169 yr What is the lowest #1 turnout for the UK charts? I feel that 2016 might only have seven at this rate.
