(19 weeks) 5GL9JoH4Sws Back in April, this was #1 in our third mandated countdown of the chart history and first of the year. Since then they've topped the pop radio charts and have sold impressively in the process. Can their next single reach those heights?

(6 weeks) 37Z_bIqIWpg Charlie Puth's stellar record continues as his sixth song to chart (his third lead) continues its upward momentum to #23. He explains that this duet with Selena Gomez was recorded across many countries during a tour. Here's what he had to say about it: "The guitar line that I had in my head started in Japan. I got my guitar, I was like, 'Yo, lay this down,' I was in my hotel room, and I literally record the guitar with my iPhone, which is crazy. I didn't even have a mic set up. Went to the Philippines, produced the beat out, like the drums, and I recorded the vocal back in Los Angeles. Then, a week later, I called Selena up after I sent it to her, and she fell in love with the song."The result was this chilled out duet that combines the anguish of a broken relationship with the relaxing production of a random tropical Eurodance hit.

(4 weeks) 25n_zH_UYpg Indie pop band JR JR have been in the game for a while - five years and three albums into the game - but this was the track that got them both critical and mainstream acclaim with its whimsical vocals and production. This remix takes things up a notch and brings in a dancey club flavor to this guitar laced track.
July 11, 20169 yr Author 21.) Adele - "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" 3rd single, 25 Chart Run: 46-38-30-27-31... (5 weeks) fk4BbF7B29w Remember when Adele decided to give us epileptic seizures and played with our minds from halfway across the world while on tour? Well that's exactly what happened during the Billboard Music Awards when the video for this single appeared. It's a pretty cute "I'm over you so say hi to your new side chick for me" type of song. Typical theme for Adele. But this production? Not so much, which is what's so refreshing about it.

July 11, 20169 yr Author 20.) Rihanna - "Needed Me" 3rd single, ANTi Chart Run: 42-38-28-23-20-19-20... (7 weeks) wfN4PVaOU5Q Rihanna decided to release two songs as a single at the same time once again, and this one seems to be coming out on top for the most part. There's just a certain appeal to this song that just keeps the people going, despite "Kiss It Better" being a beautiful midtempo. With this new era and a track for the new Star Trek movie in the loop, Rih really does keep busy.
July 11, 20169 yr Author 19.) Drake f/WizKid & Kyla - "One Dance" 2nd single, Views Chart Run: 48-36-27-21-14-8-6-2-2-3-7-11-19... (13 weeks) hKZk7zU0DbU We've come a long way from when this first debuted back in Cody Christian's birthday special. Since then, the song has logged in 13 weeks at #1 in the UK and has catapulted Drake to new heights that he had only reached just months before with "Hotline Bling". This Canadian rapper is bigger than before, and the world is better off with that. The rest of the world may be tired of it, but we're certainly not!
July 11, 20169 yr Author 18.) Calvin Harris f/Rihanna - "This Is What You Came For" Lead single, TBA Chart Run: 8-2-3-5-7-8-10-12-14-18... (10 weeks) kOkQ4T5WO9E Despite it being a bad year for Calvin Harris personally, our favorite Scottish EDM wonder is continuing to smash the charts and win more hearts with yet another collaboration with Rihanna. If you're looking for an infectious track to play at a Vegas show, then this is what you came for.
July 11, 20169 yr Author 17.) Zedd & Kesha - "True Colors" 3rd single, True Colors Chart Run: 1-1-2-3-4-6-8-11-12-17... (10 weeks) weEV0Jf0Urk Before this track was re-recorded and released, this wasn't necessarily the best track on Zedd's album. This version with Kesha shows a whole different side of both artists. It can encompass the power of Zedd's slower productions and the vulnerability Kesha produces with her voice. It's a win-win for both of them.
July 11, 20169 yr Author 16.) The Chainsmokers f/Daya - "Don't Let Me Down" 2nd single, Bouquet EP Chart Run: 43-34-25-23-18-11-8-5-4-3-4-4-6-5-7-10-13-16... (18 weeks) Io0fBr1XBUA Now we're up to Daya's biggest track here and worldwide. If you said this time two years ago that The Chainsmokers would be back with another hit I would be laughing at your face. This year they've grabbed two massive hits, and this was the biggest of them all.
July 11, 20169 yr Really Bored of One Dance now :( Rihanna and Calvin tho  Chainsmokers and Zedd too :cheer:
July 11, 20169 yr Author 15.) Fifth Harmony f/Fetty Wap - "All In My Head (Flex)" 2nd single, 7/27 Chart Run: 28-15... (2 weeks) jsbeemdD2rQ And our greatest gainer this week goes to Fifth Harmony's second single off their latest album and this summer jam has got everything. It's got a tropical beat almost similar to that of Rihanna combined with Fetty Wap's almost gurgled sound. I'm gonna warn you - if you're gonna start humping to this, please be careful. I don't want you to hurt or strain yourself.
July 11, 20169 yr Author Chart Contender Of The Week #4: Imani Williams f/Sigala & Blonde - "Don't Need No Money" ekH2CSMaR6s Speaking of summer jams, another producer good for that type of sound is Sigala, who spawned one of the biggest hits of last year with "Easy Love". This time he teams up with Blonde and vocalist Imani (whom he worked with on minor hit "Say You Do") to form this new jam. You don't need no money to enjoy this track.
July 11, 20169 yr Author Speaking of no money... http://i.imgur.com/Pv6sTIC.jpg 14.) Galantis - "No Money" Lead single, TBA Chart Run: 49-44-41-28-21-18-19-15-14... (9 weeks) xUVz4nRmxn4 Galantis also spawned one of the biggest hits of the year last year, and back in April they returned with this fun track to dance on the beach boardwalk with. It was another success for them as this song achieved just as much longevity as the other two singles that made it big.
July 11, 20169 yr Author http://i.imgur.com/kqLxQyJ.jpg 13.) Kungs vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners - "This Girl" Non-album single Chart Run: 50-45-31-24-13... (5 weeks) 2Y6Nne8RvaA Anyone else waiting for this guy to announce an album? Kungs first got recognition for his remixes (especially the one for "Are You With Me?") but it was this track that catapulted him to where he is now: big in the Eastern Hemisphere and just about to smash the Western.
July 11, 20169 yr Author 12.) Meghan Trainor - "Me Too" 2nd single, Thank You Chart Run: 48-34-28-23-20-12... (6 weeks) qDRORgoZxZU Who's that sexy thing I see over there? That's me. Standing in the mirror. This feel good track is just everything needed to wake up in the morning and just feel refreshed. It's these types of songs that make Meghan stand out and I see why there's appeal.
July 11, 20169 yr Author 11.) Sigala f/John Newman & Nile Rodgers - "Give Me Your Love" Non-album single Chart Run: 42-29-25-21-16-11... (6 weeks) ze6H75NCUs8 The interesting thing about John Newman's vocals is that they're annoyingly consistent, and while they may work for some songs, it won't work for others. For this track, it definitely works, and it gives Sigala another huge smash. Can this make the top 10? Guess we'll have to find out next week. The top 10 is coming up soon!
