The 'Official' Singles Charts, as we know it, didn't begin until February 1969. These series of rates will cover March 1960 (when the chart expanded to a Top 40 for the first time) to December 1969. Below is a chronological list of all the singles which peaked at No.4 in the UK during the 1960s.
