June's Diary - L.A.N.C.E.

Not sure if anyone watched Kelly Rowland's recent reality show called Chasing Destiny but it was very good viewing and it was basically her looking to find the next vocal harmony girlband in the same vein as DC, TLC and En Vogue.

June's Diary are the final product and despite the awful name they have been releasing some decent music. I still think the single and the vocal arrangements are mis-judged if they are attempting to create a new DC - it ends up sounding like 5 Kelly's singing and rapping in a way that doesn't really see many harmonies at all.

Having said that the first single 'L.A.N.C.E' has grown on me massively and is a really decent R&B attempt, despite it maybe not hitting their original USP:
