Andrea Corr Goes Solo

Andrea Corr, the youngest member of the family group The Corrs, will release the first solo outing from any member of the group later this year.

 

The album ‘Present’ was produced by Nellee Hooper (Bjork, U2, Soul II Soul).

 

Andrea is the frontwoman for The Corrs. The Irish group formed in 1991 and also features her sisters Caroline and Sharon as well as brother Jim.

 

Andrea was first seen in a small role in the 1991 movie The Commitments.

 

The Corrs first album ‘Forgiven, Not Forgotten’ went on to sell four times platinum. They have had five studio albums. Their last album was ‘Home’ from 2005.

i love the corrs but am also really looking forwrd to hearing her solo stuff
