Commentary : It's a third week at the top for Monoir and Osaka with the "violin song" holding off Carla's Dream but another candidate for number one "Sofia" by Alvaro Soler top for 12 weeks in Italy and becoming a pan European summer hit following in the footsteps of "El mismo sol" from last summer, climbs from 9 to 3. The biggest climber of the week is last week's new entry by Manuel Riva/Eneli as "Mhm mhm" goes up from 17 to 9. Other high risers are Major Lazer's big worldwide hit "Cold water" top in the UK and up from 18 to 13 on my chart, and MC's Zaac and Jerry Brazilian hit "Bumbum Granada" up from 20 to 15. It's a real cosmopolitan chart this week as tracks from 14 different countries are amongst the 20 not including Bulgaria whose language are featured on 2 of the tracks. There are 4 US tracks but none from the UK. There are 3 Turkish productions including the current number one and the highest new entry at 19 "Tuesday" by Burak Yeter, a big hit in Russia. The other new entry is German producer Felix Jaehn with "Bonfire" .... he is best known for his production of Omi's "Cheerleader" a track which charted for me each of the years 2013, 2014 and 2015 but in the original version.
