Watched the first couple of shows, as tedious and embarrassing as I'd thought it would be... Knock it on the head Leigh, please.....

Sacha Baron Cohen has absolutely nothing to worry about....

I thought the show was OK but it should be just 30 minuted of Mel B

What's funny about it though...? It has no pay-off, no punchline or, indeed any purpose...Just puerile.... I've seen fart/bodily function gags used to much better effect in films like "Blazing Saddles" (the farting cowboys round the campfire eating beans, bloody brilliant...) or "Naked Gun" (Lt Drebin in the toilet not realising he was still wearing a microphone and the crowd hearing him p*** and then fart, again, bloody funny..)...... Avid's attempts to ape these great comedy moments just totally failed....

Well I found it funny so it worked on some people actually

There have been funny bits in the series. Pimp My Bride on the first episode and Pete Doherty being my favourites. I thought Keith Lemon was $h!t though.

One or two marginally funny sketches hardly make up for the fact that the series in general is poor.. It's deffo more miss than hit... Compare it to the first two series of "Bo Selecta" and I think you'll agree that "Bo In the USA" is almost entirely lacking....

Even the 'stalky' bits were totally lame, because you damn well knew that Shannon Doherty was in on the 'joke' and it had been totally rehearsed and staged, whereas before it was far more disturbing because Avid really did come across as being almost a sociopath... The laughter and humour of "Bo Selecta" 1 and 2 was entirely nervous and ambiguous because you just did not know who was in on the joke and who wasn't.... The viewer was dragged into Avid's totally insane little fantasy world and it really made for edgy comedy of a Chris Morris standard
