Eastenders is so boring nowadays.. (I still watch it tho :kink:)

That's what I'm starting to think. Surely SOC was aware of the great reception to the character? I know people are gutted Pam and Les and Lee have been axed but that was only after he improved the characters, whereas Belinda has always been liked.

 

It does feel like th number of departures are leading to new arrivals, but I would not be surprised if we didn't see that many, given it has been noted SOC has taken the show back to its roots which saw a smaller, but more utilised, cast.

Does anyone know what the Christmas Day episode is going to be about? I know the New Year's Day episode is about Ronnie & Roxy but for the Christmas Day episode it doesn't seem very clear at the moment by reading TV magazines.

I imagine the Christmas episode will be Denise, Phil and the baby?
Although I don't want OTT sensationalism at Gavin levels, I won't be here to watch an hour long episode of Will and Janet opening presents and Mick singing 2 Become 1.
i forgot all about gavin. surely the house of horrors episode will go down as one of THE worst EE episodes of all time? :lol:

Although I don't want OTT sensationalism at Gavin levels, I won't be here to watch an hour long episode of Will and Janet opening presents and Mick singing 2 Become 1.

I feel like SOC has seen the fail of Gavin and tried to go in the opposite direction, but we just need some balance :drama: Emmerdale for example is good at being not too OTT but still exciting, because there is realism and there is utter tedium. When the episode's pinnacle of excitement is Denise having her cheesy bacon taken away by her militant vegan daughter it's just ridiculous.

you know eastenders isn't exactly the most exciting when we have articles about sharon's pink cleaning gloves :lol:

Don't bring Lisa back.

Axe Lee Carter and get Whitney to have fun with Martin.
