I expected something more dramatic with Max's return to be honest.

I was expecting an bombshell with Max's comeback immediately. Although we have to wait and see. How the media hyped his comeback it was as if we expecting something an shockwave with his return or something.

Well, if DTC was still in charge, Max would be constantly looming out of the shadows, holding Jane at lighter point and chasing Abi around a random mansion because why not.

His actual return is more intriguing tbh.

He would also push his own brother out the mansion window if this was DTC

That sounds good actually, Jack's getting on my nerve atm.

Ronnie has looked after children for 24 months. Jack has looked after children for 12 months.

Roxy was able to do it on her own for about 7 years. What is this writing?

Sally Rogers (the parking attendant) is credited in the next episode, so I would assume she talks Lee out of suicide. Can't wait to see those scenes - from what I saw of her work in The Bill, Sally is great.

She played Jo Masters in The Bill didn't she?

Can Oz go now, he's annoying.

That was a decent episode, I really felt for Lee, great performance from him. Max seems to have a hidden agenda deep down, that self harming at the end.

Loved the scene with Max and Roxy where Max told it as it was and not according to Jack and Ronnie's little fairytale.

Always a pleasure to see Glenda again. And it appears they've kept the same actor for Danny.

The scenes between Danny Boy and Sally Rogers were absolutely excellent and I lost it with that final shot of her crying with a photograph of her son in the background.

Another fantastic episode all round. I'm so excited for NYD's episode!!

:snif: I'm going to miss them. Actually, there wasn't too bad, it was beautifully handled, but I wish it was more of a happy ending for them. Tomorrow's episode should be quite good, but no one knows they are in the swimming pool.

The camera work was spot on tonight and made R&R's deaths all the more grisly. I suspect some people will be disappointed but it was a very realistic death. I think I'd have been underwhelmed with an OTT end and it wouldn't suit SOC's style either.

I also loved the dancing segment, especially the part where they soak everyone whilst 'The Girls' played, harking back to the advert that marked their arrival. That was a lovely touch and one I hoped would happen.

Apparently there was indeed an alternative ending filmed, at least according to the voiceover that introduced the episode.

Wedding reception was beautifully shot. I actually thought the death scenes were ridiculous as the scene started but it was quite poignant at the end and made it quite chilling.
