It does seem odd, especially with how flirty Mark is being (I get that's just the way he is in general but you think he'd be able to switch off the charm in front of clearly quite impressionable 14 year olds). I suppose it kinda makes sense for Mark to hang out with Shakil and then in turn be around 14 year olds, because it also kinda makes sense for 14 and 16 year olds to hang out. Tbf, I've not found it seems weird when watching on screen because I always assume Mark/Courtney are slightly younger than they are and Louise/Bex are slightly older.

I guess, both Mark and Courtney have cousins that age but still it seems weird. Why did they have Mark wolf whistle his 15 year old cousin the other day?
