well not quite, but still. After there 2004 album "The System Has Failed" Dave Mustaine annouced that there would be no more touring and an effective end to the band that he and ex bassist Dave Ellefson started back in 1983 after Mustaine was ejected from Metallica. However since 2004 Mustaine has annoced that he will keep the band alive and to mark this occasion announced a new album. This info is abit old, and the band are already in the studio with a new bassist. Also out now in the shops is a new DVD, The Arsenal Of Megadeth which will include 20 promo videos, over 20 minutes of unreleased live footage, a rare acoustic performance from Argentina, archived interviews from 1986 to 1998 with current and ex members, and 'candid footage backstage and on the road'.

I used to like em, but when Mustaine stopped taking the drugs, it just seemed like Megadeth kinda lost their edge, especially in the face of bands like Slipknot, Tool, Fear Factory, Sepultura, etc who've just torn ahead of them....

I saw them back in 2001, and they started really well, but as the gig wore on, Mustaine's voice just cracked up....Megadeth would've been so much better had Mustaine just stuck to the fretwork and got a decent singer to do all the vocal duties....

Hey John...:)

Got your Megadeth playing, and I have to say their okay, but personally I actually find them a bit dull. Going off your Itunes you have great music taste...:D
