If i ever learn how i would really like to make my own Vanessa sig ^_^ it shouldn't be long before we hear from her in the UK!! Come Back To Me" is meant to be released here next month isn't it?

Although this is random it kinda still has to do with high school musical but i really like the troy and gabriella - breking free itz dead nice and i fink that its kinda catchy but i also think they r tryin 2 be like hilary duf aswell and make it BIG :)

 

Hmmm... Well with Breaking Free thats just Disney releasing a song from the soundtrack, but Vanessa is releasing music through Disney so there are similarities...

 

As for Come Back To Me, next month is the suggested release date :) I think it will be January though

I think this album is overrated, there are some good songs on it

but many are boring or annoying like Physic which has the most

irritating chorus for some reason.

My Review of this:

 

01 - Come Back To Me - I quite this though it is somewhat

forgettable and a typical pop/r&b song. Vocals are good but

the instrumental gets repetitive - 7/10

 

02 - Let Go - A bit boring, doesnt really go anywhere

and there's not much to say about it - 5/10

 

03 - Say Ok - An ok ballad here but again it doesnt really

go anywhere, decent lyrics though and a good chorus - 6/10

 

04 - Never Underestimate A Girl - A like this song a lot, its

catchy and the chorus is brilliant. The instrumental isd good

and its a very upbeat happy song - 9/10

 

05 - Lets Dance - Its sounds like Gina G and a Robot mixed together

catchy but very weird - 6/10

 

06 - Drive - Good ballad here, the chorus is good as well.

Its again catchy and sticks in your head unlike some of

the songs - 8/10

 

07 - Afraid - Brilliant ballad here, its actually good pop for once.

Like many of the songs the chrous is fantastic to - 9/10

 

08 - Promise - Another exceptional song here, not as good

as Afraid but yet again a super chorus - 8/10

 

09 - Whatever Will Be - A nice chillout song and as usually

a great chorus, i cant seem to think which singer it reminds

me of though - 9/10

 

10 - Rather Be With You - Its catchy but there's something missing

and i dont what it is, it gets boring to quickily - 6/10

 

11 - Physic - It seems to change at times in the song and the

chorus is irritating, i dont like at all, probably the worst on

the album - 3/10

 

12 - Lose Your Love - Good sort of R&B song here, very smooth

and catchy, one of the best songs and you can overplay it

but still love it - 9/10

 

13 - Don't Talk - I love these electo beats but this reminds me

of a hilary duff song, havent decided on this - 6/10

 

14 - Make You Mine - The albums ends with a good pop/rock, the typical

forgettable verse followed by a good chorus and she shows her

good vocals on this - 8/10.

 

Overall: It works out at 7/10 - a good album here though a little

overatted, but in general good though forgettable pop songs.

It was at #51 last week, so those sales seem rougly right... I think it will climb a little over the next 2-3 weeks with Come Back To Me beginning to pick up. Hopefully it will at least get a Gold Certification.

Yer i hope so two :cheer: the album has sold over 70k atm so with the single picking up and her touring with the Cheetah Girls then i think it could go gold

it would be a really big achievement for a Disney artists album to go gold aswell

Yeah it certainlly would, I can only think of some of the soundtracks (HSM etc) and Hilary Duff who have completed such a feet, and Vanessa is the first to get significant airplay... although that could change with the release of Ashley's album.

on Wikipedia it has "let Go" down to be released on the 4th of december ^_^

I read that also, Let Go is a good song, but there are other I would rather be released that won't be
