So after the first round of voting which saw 19 album tracks nominated, THREE songs have proven to be far more popular than the rest and have therefore advanced to this next round of voting. Either 'Take A Bow', 'Outta My Head' or 'Glassheart' will become the song to represent Leona in the "Should've Been a Single" AF Song Contest. All three tracks stand out on each of their albums as missed single opportunities so I have to say Buzzjack definitely got it right even if Power was robbed.

FYI, 'Glassheart' got 11 nominations while 'Take A Bow' got 10 and 'Outta My Head' got 9. The only other tracks to get more than 1 vote were 'Naked' (4), 'Come Alive' (4) and 'Power' (2).

Here are the three finalists:

I will close the poll on Saturday 3rd September at 8pm. So what album track do you believe deserved to be a single the most?

Between the first two for me. I've enjoyed 'Glassheart', but it's always felt like an inferior version of the other two, for me!

I went for 'Outta My Head' though!

Jay did you actually vote? Or null vote? Maybe I did? Omg. There should be two votes for OMH :(
For me Take A Bow is in a whole other league. The standout single for Leona on any album.

I actually nominated 'Glassheart' over TAB but I voted for the latter in this poll since her vocal is just sublime on the track.

And Jonjo don't worry I'll count your null vote as a vote for OMH.

Outta My Head is so overrated.

Glassheart is overrated imo :P

Soe if you voted, did you also click on null vote? There's been 10 votes cast but 2 haven't been counted.

I love all 3, it's so hard to pick between them but one of my fave Leona tracks has always been 'Outta My Head' so I'm going with that
Argh, so hard. Had to go with "Glassheart" though. I mean it managed to chart in the top 200 in the UK and get to the top 40 on the Russian airplay chart without official release. Such an international smash waiting to happen at the time. :snif:

Yeah I almost feel bad I didn't pick it. The dirty dub-step breakdown was amazing (reminiscent of Where Have You Been) and it could have drastically changed the general public's perception of her in a good way. By 2012 her she could have still potentially had a big hit with 'Glassheart' that radio would touch. It should have led the album.

I went with Take A Bow. This one instantly sounded like a global smash to me and genuinely believe that if this was actually pushed as a single instead of Forgive Me and I Will Be, things would be quite different for Leona in terms of her popularity all over the world.

I think with Outta My Head, it stands out purely for being a dance based track which at the time was so different for Leona. However, if it was performed by another artist (or more so a dance music artist) then I think i would consider it as being quite a weak song. My issue with the Echo campaign is that it was so poorly handled that with her popularity at the time, she could have easily had multiple moderate to big hits from it internationally but the opportunities were never taken. I See You though not on the album would have made such a difference to the success of the campaign by being a single and giving Leona another international hit. By the time I Got You was out, it had been 5 months since Happy was released. The world had moved on.

Glassheart speaks for itself really and was definitely a missed opportunity (should have been a single instead of releasing Hurt and that small covers EP), but where I think that would have done well in the UK, I am not so certain about global which is quite clearly something that interests Leona.

I am shocked that Outta My Head is winning, out of all of Leona's incredible songs how is that the one people think should be put forward as her biggest missed opportunity. Oh well.
