August 31, 20168 yr Hey now, there's nothing fundamentally wrong with coming back with a cover! 15 years ago this wouldn't have been entirely surprising. I kind of like that she's doing a cover for that reason - Tulisa's solo career has been early 2000s in just about every way, so this fits perfectly. Not heard the song and I don't think I ever will but I think she should be commended on trying if nothing else! I don't think she'd still be going if she didn't care about making music.
August 31, 20168 yr Tulisa thought it was, by the sounds of it. She's told the press "it feels like a good way to come back". She also said 'Sight of You' was her timeless ballad at the time of its release.
August 31, 20168 yr She also said 'Sight of You' was her timeless ballad at the time of its release. oh my god LMAO
August 31, 20168 yr The idea isn't bad, the execution is a bit... That production could have been SO MUCH STRONGER if it were more deep housey (or at least future bass, I mean COME ON) rather than another rehash of "My Boo".
September 1, 20168 yr The guy from WSTRN is the best bit about this song  Maybe it will grow - it just sounds a bit cheap. It's not as bad as I was expected though - it seems she's only sampled the chorus and the rest of the song is original.
September 2, 20168 yr Smashed into the iTunes chart at #337. Nowhere near as bad as I was expecting however it's just sounds a bit like 'Clubland 2009'
September 2, 20168 yr ji2qFKjzdDI I haven't seen a like/dislike ratio like that since the days of early Bieber & Rebecca Black! (I don't actually think it's that bad tho )
September 2, 20168 yr I notice the comments are disabled too, probably because they know that the majority of the comments would be really negative
September 2, 20168 yr I love that they've disabled comments for the video too  Edited September 2, 20168 yr by Kye
September 2, 20168 yr Not too sure what to think of this. Have there been reviews of this by the way from any music websites? The original its safe to say that it will remain a garage classic. Unfortunately for Tulisa, this will most likely go down as a chart flop. Brave choice to cover this though.
September 2, 20168 yr Who decided this was a good idea? What is that noise at the start, it sounds like she has been stabbed, and not by a knife. What does her face look like? She looks like she has a bad wig on in places. That is a really awful rap. "She knows what I been on" (Probably because she "allegedly" hooked you up with the dealer)
September 2, 20168 yr So much hate  This isn't even that bad but then the hate was coming in before it even premiered so ~ The verses are quite nice and while the chorus falls a bit flat it's decent. Quite forgettable but nice :music:
September 3, 20168 yr Seriously though why is Tulisa hated so much? The single has started to fall on iTunes and seems to be an Apple exclusive as its not appeared on Spotify so it clearly won't be troubling the Top 100. I'm sure Tulisa will be dropped by AATW after this - I'm actually surprised they are still backing her TBH as she has only delivered one hit/decent seller with 'Young' and her debut album tanked too (Which I LOVED when it was released).
