Ta-Dah debuted at number 19 in the Billboard 200 chart published today, selling 41,992 units this week!

Give your opinions on this.

I personally think it's fantastic, the US is a notoriously hard nut to crack for acts such as the Scissor Sisters or other acts which mainly enjoy their success over here, especially with all the homophobia and criticism targeted at them in America. Go SS! :yahoo:

Also, I Don't Feel Like Dancin' is number 2 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Chart, meaning it will probbly enter the Billboard Hot 100 next week!

I think this is brilliant for them! :o I thought they were fairly unknown over there, but they must have a following to make the Top 20! :o Let's hope a single generates some interest in the album and pushes it up ^_^

WHERE did the first album peak at in america does anyone know??

TOP 20 IS GREAT FOR TA DAH AND LETS HOPE IT CLIMBS EVEN FUTHER

Wow! Thats unexpected brilliant news for them, I hope it climbs as they get more well known there. As Ty said, thats on in the eye for the US homophobes! ^_^

It easily beats the previous peak, number 102 for SS

102?! :o I didn't realise it had flopped that badly!

well 102 is very disappointing for the first album but at least ta dah has made a huge improvement on that so far

Top 20 for the Scissor Sisters is hugely impressive.

Indeed it, its not often that the UK influence the US with record buying!

Wow, thats great news. Heres hoping it climbs further next week..

Down?! Damn!!

Don't worry, this always happens in the US. Number one albums only tend to last a week before falling low top ten unless they are by very big artists - JT, RHCP and the like

They should put some promo in really. Although they seem not too bothered about the us, they should capitolise on it.
