September 15, 20213 yr All while he wasn't even present at the show himself! I'm not really sure what I make of it to be honest. Slotting a random unknown into the NXT title match is a... choice  Rick Steiners son did well but this feels a bit too random a show now with too many randomers on the show. Having said that there was some decent bits. I actually like Brunette Mandy. Makes for a nice change and she was kinda going nowhere with Dana on Raw as well. Kacy and Kayden deserve to have a run with the tag titles now. Strong v Kushida should be a match of year if they don't screw things up too. I do have to laugh at them restarting NXT and putting the title on Ciampa too lol. Dunne needs to be champion asap.
September 15, 20213 yr I like NXT for having longer matches to show case the superstars more. Hopefully it was a one off to bring in the new NXT but it took like 4 matches in for a proper one to take place  or what felt like a proper match.
September 15, 20213 yr i mean i feel like this week was always going to feel a bit ehhhh but we got index wedding which was GLORIOUS
September 15, 20213 yr It did feel quite alarming how many new random wrestlers were appearing on the show and they all had the characteristics that Vince McMahon has been rumoured to be looking for with this new version of NXT, all of them are 6 foot giants. A lot of people on Twitter seemed to like last night's episode but that could have been mainly due to the wedding, it seemed odd the way that they executed the title match not having it closing the show. I think when the first takeover of this new era takes places that will be the thing that will really show what the level of NXT is going to be now. NXT takeovers have almost always been very enjoyable no matter what the state of the weekly shows have been. It was good to see Big E winning the WWE Championship on Raw, hopefully he'll get a long title reign to go with it. He was apparently supposed to cash in the briefcase on the 4th October episode of Raw which is when the draft is happening but they brought it forward because AEW Dynamite beat Raw last week in the 18-49 demo ratings so they were looking for a ratings bump for Raw this week.
September 15, 20213 yr raw had dissapointing ratings of 1.67m as it was up against NFL. If Aew manages anywhere near 1.3m it's going to be the closest that they've ever been to Raw but i lowkey expect them to drop back down to 1m - 1.1m.
October 6, 20213 yr No women's tag teams left 🙃 (aside from Rhea and Nikki and I guess Carmella and Zelina). Might as well scrap the titles as there's no point to them lol.

Oh don't get me started on this, the draft has been such a joke. Why they have split up Tamina and Natalya I don't know, Tamina's push has definitely ended after getting pinned on Raw no doubt. They'll both go back to catering no doubt.
October 6, 20213 yr They might eventually link Tamina back up with Nia again if she isn't used as a jobber. I'm fully expecting Tegan and Shotzi to be in catering still so them splitting them up won't make any difference to what was happening before and then all three excluding Natalya will be released lol.

Maybe we'll see a couple of newbies at least this Friday when the tournaments start. I imagine they'll be 8 matches to start, all of which will no doubt be rushed.
October 6, 20213 yr Predicting Shayna to win the Queens Crown tournament tbh especially with her being built up again after so long!
October 9, 20213 yr Queens Crown what a load of crap this is. Glad Zelina is winning matches now I guess but Liv and Toni deserve better. Both only under or over 2 minutes which is ridiculous too. Kevin Owens on his way to AEW for definite now as he's been made a joke the past month or so.
November 4, 20213 yr Ember, Scarlett and Franky Monet all released. Nia JAX also :o Edited November 4, 20213 yr by Simon.
November 4, 20213 yr Ember, Scarlett and Franky Monet all released. Nia JAX also :o Apparently Keith "Bearcat" Lee has been released as well!
November 4, 20213 yr Karrion inevitably gone with Scarlett and Mia Yim too. Seems they like releasing couples this round. B Fab and Eva Marie cut too. Ember will do well in AEW /impact so bittersweet for her I think as she wasn't used particularly well on the main roster. Lol so much for Kross being someone people were touting would be a main roster main eventer and Keith Lee supposedly being a Vince fave at one point and likely pushing him (not that I'm fussed personally). WWE really do have dementia or something with all the utilising then taking off tv then utilising and then taken off again just to eventually go f*** it let's just release you instead lol.
November 5, 20213 yr Nia, Karrion and a few others were also apparently let go cause they were unvaccinated. Edited November 5, 20213 yr by Rob S
November 7, 20213 yr Survivor Series teams lazily announced through twitter :') Men Raw : Seth, Kevin, Finn & Mysterios (all of them were drafted from SD to Raw in the draft lmao) Smackdown: Drew, Sami, Jeff, King Woods & Happy Corbin. Women Raw : Bianca, Rhea, Liv, Zelina & Carmella Smackdown: Sasha, Shayna, Shotzi, Natalya & Aliyah. Very surprised at Aliyah being added, feel she'll be first eliminated though and Sasha will probably get screwed over by Shotzi too. Raw is stronger teams wise but I do like the Smackdown women's. Poor Toni though :( Edited November 7, 20213 yr by Rob S
November 22, 20213 yr Mixed views on Survivor Series, two best matches were Charlotte and Becky and RKBro v The Usos. Both very enjoyable and the real life drama between the first two really helped when it came to the match. The Elimination matches were decent enough although admittedly there was a lot of sloppy and botching moments in the women's which dragged it down somewhat. Not sure I liked Bianca powering through 3 Smackdown members but I guess she did need a statement win after losing the title to Becky. Big E and Roman was good too but nothing super special and the battle royal was meh. Priest v Shinsuke was really let down by that finish though as it was quite a good little match till the ending and what's the purpose of brand v brand when it ends in a DQ like that. Stupid.
