Empire is back on our screens again! It is good to have the incredible Cookie Lyon back in my life again :heart:

 

I was disappointed that it was Rhonda who fell off the balcony, not Boo Boo Kitty :( I feel Rhonda had a lot more to give to the show, so it's a shame. Boo Boo Kitty also deserves a punishment now for killing both Rhonda and her baby. Evil cow :angry: I was also disappointed that her death was almost forgotten 10 minutes into the show and it was back to its usual antics. Other than Andre, no one seemed that bothered by it all.

 

Lucious' mum threatening Anika with a knife was an incredible moment though. She turned out to be quite a good character but I imagine her days will ultimately be numbered.

Stanning the return of Takeem!!! It's like season 1 all over again. Although how can she conveniently forget she's a lesbian, unless the show is just forgetting about that storyline.

but also yes!!!! *.* i think i still need to watch the mid season finale oops

It's quite disappointing for a mid-season finale. Nothing THAT major happens except a couple of little bombshells at the end.

That episode was far better than most of the first half of the season - more of this quality pls. The new character Tory has a lot of potential, so hopefully she's sticking around.
