We didn't get Clubland 28 in the summer so instead AATW have abandoned the numbered series and are putting out Clubland 2017 on October 28th. A pretty obvious tracklist really, I think the album will be lucky to sell 50k in total, they're just so uninspired now and pointless when these tracks are on a million other compilations. What made Clubland so great was the AATW-signed acts with the less commercial stuff that often never got a single release and was quite rare, 100% Clubland showed there's still a huge appetite for that, but there's no appetite for this same-old chart fodder. Another lost opportunity.

The tracklisting isn't THAT bad if it was for a generic dance compilation/Floorfillers CD, but it's not, this is Clubland and they've completely ruined their series. 100% Clubland earlier this year was/is absolutely amazing! I suppose they're assuming there's no market for that type of music anymore, but the album's longevity in the compilation chart proves otherwise.

And there goes the final nail in the coffin. Better off getting some of those Euro-Dance-Themed albums via Import. Total shame, I did enjoy the treasures that laid among the obvious dance hits.
