Yes. Nothing like a c**k to wake you up in the morning. ^_^ My granny had one called Malcolm. -_-

He calls Gary a c**k in this. I don't see him sueing Rob so Nigel should just p*** off :smoke:

I don't think he's talking about Gary there, it was Jay who he didn't get on with at the very beginning

Oh I see ^_^

Seriously though, everything about this song is outstanding. The music is brilliant, especially the begining. reminds me of the Beatles for some reason

This was the one track I was most looking forward to hearing ... and it certainly doesn't disappoint!

It's stunning - the lyrics are incredibly honest - I was in tears by the end of my first listen. I'm glad he didn't change the NMS lyrics too - the space where they should be says enough!

Brilliant but very sad

I understand that...I love c**k's ^_^

Apology to Nigel Martin Smith

October 18, 2006

On September 4th and 14th we wrote about "The Nineties", a song written by Robbie Williams for his soon to be released album.

The first piece carried quotes from the song and quotes from Robbie himself which alleged that Nigel Martin Smith, who used to manage Take That, either stole the profits from a European tour or incompetently failed to make any and lied to the band when they asked about it.

In fact, there is absolutely no truth in these allegations. The European tour did make money, the band were paid and the accounts were scrutinised by accountants and found to be unimpeachable.

We sincerely apologise to Nigel Martin Smith for the distress caused by publishing these allegations and have agreed to pay him compensation.

:arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:

Vicky will not be pleased.....

Oops- was in a rush this morning. Yip. From the Sun

Which part did they take the lyrics out about Nigel. Is it just after the first chorus
Im not sure, I keep listening to it to find clues to where it would of been taken out

Well their seem to be quite a few blanks where the line could have been

The second verse is alot shorter than the first though

I think there's a couple of places where lyrics have been removed

Still a fantastic track though :)

As it's been said before, it was the right decision to leave the blanks cause most fans know what was meant to be there ^_^

However, fans who don't know the whole situation will probebly wonder why their are so many gaps :(

maybe the original will leak out at some point lol :)
Scotty, do you still have the clip of Rob singing part of The 90s at Milton Keynes? If so, maybe we can figure it out from there???

Ok, so now that I've got the CD/DVD!!!!!!!! :yahoo: I can participate in these threads...

The 90s is one of the best songs from the album!!! I love it...The rythm is great and when you listen to those words.... aaaaaaaaaaa.....

A sad song but....very nicely written
