Posted October 7, 200618 yr He's come out of retirement after 30, no just 3 -_- years TBH the song isn't a bad affair at all imo :o and taken from his forthcoming album "Kingdom Come" Hype Williams has been tapped to direct the first music video for Jay-Z's rumored comeback album, the director tells Billboard.com. "He's obviously someone who I've admired my whole career and he's one of my favorites to work with because he's such a perfectionist," Williams says. Producers Pharrell Williams and Kanye West are also said to be working on the album, but no official details have been confirmed by Def Jam. Williams' most recent directing credits include Pharrell's "Number 1" featuring West, Janet Jackson's "Call on Me" featuring Nelly and Mary J. Blige's "Enough Cryin'." The director will receive the Video Vanguard Award at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which takes place tonight (Aug. 31) in New York. "I feel like I've accomplished a lot in music videos and I've accomplished a lot this past year in just jumping back out there with Kanye," he says. So, the usual producers have been roped in....what's the deal with Pharrell? lets be honest, he's properly average these days -_- So, this song is ok - but not the standard of The Black Album :( (Should be a video too soon)
October 7, 200618 yr Author Worst retirement ever. Too True He's just done the same, still producing $h!tloads :arrr: Even the gap from his last album and this is his average space between them -_-
October 7, 200618 yr I haven't heard this yet, but yeah it was a pretty stupid thing to do; announce his retirement but come out of it only a few years later. -_-
October 10, 200618 yr Damn this song is good! :o Def Jam are furious apparently, there getting the FBI to launch an investigation into who leaked it in ase the album leaks as well :o
October 10, 200618 yr Yeah I heard this yesterday and I was really surprised. :o I can't belive how much I like the song and i've only heard it twice. :o I knew the single had leaked as Zane Loew mentioned it did but I didn't know Def Jam were taking so extreme measures. :o
October 11, 200618 yr I knew the single had leaked as Zane Loew mentioned it did but I didn't know Def Jam were taking so extreme measures. :o me neither :o I suppose his comeback is worth major money for them though, and for it to leak would just ruin the whole thing. Remember, this leak of the song is the first time some people have heard of him coming back
October 11, 200618 yr me neither :o I suppose his comeback is worth major money for them though, and for it to leak would just ruin the whole thing. Remember, this leak of the song is the first time some people have heard of him coming back Yeah I suppose I can see now were Def Jam are coming from as Jay-Z is a huge artist, but I suppose its near impossible to stop leaks from happening nowadays as just about every artists new track or album leaks a couple of weeks before its released.
October 11, 200618 yr I don't like Lupes new one, dissappointment compared to the first 2 singles :( Edited October 11, 200618 yr by Exodus
October 11, 200618 yr Author I don't like Lupes new one, dissappointment compared to the first 2 singles :( Aaaah no way :o It's $h!t at first but now I definately prefer it to Daydream The video has just been added too, and it's pretty good :o But it comes with token Pharell, possibly as his appearance may encourage album sales -_- Nah, Pharell's good
October 11, 200618 yr  the video's way cool, but mabye your right and the song is a grower ^_^ :P If I grow to like it i'll buy the album  Pharells been pretty average for a while imo, the last good thing he did was Snoops last album
