the Fox network which airs American idol asked Shakira to perform, but they would not let her band go out with her :o Now Shakira is a really nice person, but if you have seen Live And Off The Record, you know that you can't tell her what to do :lol: so she refused to perform and threatened to leave the AI set. Eventually, Fox gave in and let her band perform with her ^_^

and a performance on a show watched by this many will get the song hot on airplay, the album will be in more demand, as willt he hdl download when it comes out, especially if she does more high profile performances
