November 22, 20168 yr First, a few notes/rules: - Only singles that made the top 200 are listed. - Only proper singles are listed - no instant grats, album tracks, promo singles, etc. - For a girl group to be listed, they must have had at least one top 10 hit and have 3+ members (so no duos). - This list currently only covers the 90s onwards, we may extend backwards in the future though! Can someone tell me which of these criteria Las Ketchup don't meet, or where there's a rule that specifies 'no novelty'
November 23, 20168 yr It is?... When you read the OP you notice Girls Aloud having three #1 singles, so I suggest you do this : 2002 01 Girls Aloud - Sound of the Underground 2004 01 Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You 2007 01 Girls Aloud vs. Sugababes - Walk This Way 2008 01 Girls Aloud - The Promise 2002 01 Sugababes - Freak Like Me 2002 01 Sugababes - Round Round 2003 01 Sugababes - Hole In The Head 2005 01 Sugababes - Push The Button 2007 01 Sugababes - About You Now 2007 01 Sugababes vs. Girls Aloud - Walk This Way
November 23, 20168 yr No worries! I think I'm aware of Precious but I've never heard of Thunderbugs as a girl group before either! Say It Again and Friends Forever were SUCH good pop songs <3 In my top ten of '99.

Why on earth would the same song be listed twice in the first post  It's credited as Sugababes vs. Girls Aloud officially on iTunes etc.
November 23, 20168 yr Author ^ exactly that, post 1 simply organises the songs first by peak, then by the artist credit. You'll notice Jai Ho is separate to the PCD singles in the #3 section because A R Rahman is the first artist listed. Walk This Way is only next to the Sugababes #1s because they are credited first.
