New J-Cole album dropping this Friday. His last record was great so I'm really happy to have new music coming again.

On first listen this is quite a nice album, but I can't help but feel a tad let down after '2014 Forrest Hill Drive' which was definitely a much better album all round. This just pales in comparison.

 

It is still a nice chill listen and I'm glad it's doing well for him so far (#1 on iTunes both sides of the pond).

 

I don't really like the fact he is using beats that have only just been used as well, like 'Deja Vu' just being 'Exchange'.
