Not heard any of those albums but James Blake impacted the #JBrade meet-up because Jade bought the vinyl *_* #funfact

20 Roosevelt Roosevelt

19 Hinds Leave Me Alone

18 Anna Meredith Varmints

17 Christine And The Queens Chaleur Humaine

16 School Of Seven Bells SVIIB

Some quality synthpop on either end here, Roosevelt's consistent debut and School Of Seven Bells' swansong record. Positioned in between are Christine & The Queens' Chaleur Humaine (2014 release but launched in the uk this year so ha x), Anna Meredith's captivating classical/electronic blend and Hinds' semi-drunken indie rock introduction <3

The 1975's album had some great music on it! Notably The Sound and Love Me :D

Christine & the Queens are great as well, amazing that they got a hit in the UK!

yaaaas the 1975 and bastille in top 30 albums! maybe you do have decent music taste after all ;) intrigued to see what your top 5 are, although I have a feeling I know what number 1 is gonna be
The 1975's album is quite hit and miss for me but I've taken a handful of good songs from it so I'm definitely not complaining!

15 Yeasayer Amen & Goodbye

14 Ariana Grande Dangerous Woman

13 Sivert Høyem Lioness

12 Porches Pool

11 Savages Adore Life

More pretty strong offerings from Yeasayer and Savages, a neat little pop album from Miss Grande, Sivert Høyem of Norway with some sweeping chamber pop music, plus the Porches one is like a really cool 'atmosphere' album, probably a great soundtrack to a foggy winter morning

James Blake, Wet, Chairlift, Bowie, Hinds, Christine, Ariana and Porches all very respectable choices lad!!!

Think I've found the closest EOY to my taste so far. HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND.

10 NAO For All We Know

NAO gets off the ground running with a luxuriously-produced collection of funky R&B, featuring some big moments such as singles Bad Blood/Fool To Love, A.K. Paul collab Trophy, and In The Morning. Grab a hot cocoa and enjoy x

I adore Dangerous Woman, what a stunning album, I've sung its praises a lot round this forum already and there's not much else I can say beyond how slick and effortless it all sounds

Hey 7! <3

Vroom Vroom & Emotion: B Side are fabulous, so many highlights from both of those! <3

Chaleur Humaine/Blackstar/Dangerous Woman/Wild World are my highlights from the albums so far! The former 3 especially are all high-up for my favourite albums this year! <3

9 Bruno Mars 24K Magic

Album released following the track of the same name, it didn't disappoint! Bruno's new style of repackaging older styles is something i can truly get down with

8 Suede Night Thoughts

brooding and grandiose indie from Suede's seventh (the first full album i'd heard of theirs, though it turned me onto some earlier ones including the brilliant 'Coming Up' <3). the vocal delivery really helps sell these songs too- Like Kids, Outsiders and When You Are Young probably the biggest highlights

7 Santigold 99 Cents

Santi's back with an eclectic mix of electropop *.* the first half especially showcases a diverse mix, like the chirpy 'Can't Get Enough of Myself", the adrenaline-packed "Banshee" (you may recognise it from a house of fraser ad), the M.I.A.-aping "Big Boss Big Time Business", the euphoric trap sounds of "Walking in a Circle", the hypnotizingly infectious "Who Be Lovin Me" ~

The latter of which features an amazing ILOVEMAKONNEN verse:

24K Magic is the first Bruno album I've listened to (out of choice), it was pretty decent! Versace On the Floor is my favourite aside from the title track I think.

6 Parquet Courts Human Performance

A more clean and polished affair than Light Up Gold, there's plenty a great melodic indie rock track to be found here- Berlin Got Blurry, One Man No City and Dust most notably, other standouts include the inner insecurities of title track Human Performance, and I Was Just Here focusing on the rapid pace of living in NY (with a vocal delivery that feels equally monotone and on-edge somehow)
