The Lisa Marie initially cost Elvis $250,000, but the cost of having it remodelled to his own tastes was, according to the official Graceland book, an extra $800,000 :o Mind you, it certainly was fantastic when Elvis had customised it :cheer:

Legend has it that someone did utter the famous words "Elvis has left the building", any ideas?
  • Author
I know that one  It was Horace Logan at the Louisiana Hayride and he said it cos when Elvis had finished his act, all the girls would run to the exit to try and get to him (can't blame them ;) ) and so he once said 'Elvis has left the building, he's gone' so they would sit down and watch the acts that followed :D

Which country banned one of Elvis' films due to it's theme, and what was the film?

  • Author

Flaming Star was banned in South Africa because the character portrayed by Elvis had a white father and a Native American mother and this went against SA's strict laws of racial separation.
