Oooh you're a hard quizmaster  It's not something like he never mimed, is it  I know what you're going to say.........wrong, guess again :yahoo:
you guessed again, didn't think this would be too hard, now i'm wondering if i should check out the answer

See I'm pathetic, aren't I :( No, I'm sure you're right, it's just I can't think what it could be, but I bet it's so obvious
well you can tell me if the answer is wrong, but the Phrase Elvis has left the building was supposed to have been coined to tell the audience that the show was over and there would be no encores. Is it true that after '56 he did not do encores, but just finished and did not re-emerge on stage to sing?

Yep, you're right there, he didn't do encores : ;) I could kick myself for not thinking of that one :hithead: I just knew it would be something that I know, just didn't think about in connection with the question  Great question Brian  But now you've got to ask another one

damn, thought that one would run a while but i could see you were struggling to know, need to think on a new one.

anyway why did he not do encores?

I'm sure I read why somewhere, but can't think at the moment, but I will find out ;) Hey, is that the question?

Okay, I'll go and do my homework, sir  Want an A+ this time :cheer:

Best answer I can come up with is that Colonel Parkers' philosophy, where Elvis was concerned, was to always leave them wanting more ;)
well i don't know, but that sounds good to me :D

Does that mean I've got to post a question :o

Okay, easyish one cos I've nothing prepared  We're coming up to the 34th anniversary of Aloha, so how much was raised for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund from the event?
was it around 70,000 dollars
  • Author
Yep, around about $75,000 so you were close enough  Now just be gentle with me now :yahoo:
who was responsible for.................Elvis: What Happened? the sensational exposé of Elvis's life.
