That was a good question and you are both right :cheer: It is usually understood that Elvis wanted a bicycle and that is what probably most books about Elvis would say. When I visited the Tupelo Hardware store, I was told the story about Elvis wanting a rifle and I actually bought a copy of the letter Mr Bobo wrote which suggested that (the letter which was reproduced in Derick's link) So you're both right and that's the great thing about us Elvis fans - We're all clever :yahoo:
