A scottish question for you :cheer:

What date did Elvis' plane touch down at Prestwick Airport the only time he stood on UK soil. :)

You lucky Scots :cheer:

Elvis stopped to refuel at Prestwick on March 2nd 1960

What was the name Elvis gave to the ranch he bought in Mississippi in 1967?

  • Author

Yaaaaaaaay it sure was  Mind you. I think it should have been Circle E, and not because of his initial  because he didn't record enough songs beginning with E

What famous singer tries to see Elvis by climbing the fence at Graceland in April 1976. Security guards remove him as he tries to explain who he is? :D

That was Bruce Springsteen :cheer: But Elvis wasn't there, anyway :( Love his famous quote about Elvis ;)

“...it was like he came along and whispered some dream in everybody’s ear, and somehow we all dreamed it.†

Okay, no one has answered my question in the '68 Comeback thread, so I'll try it in here (maybe they didn't notice it :( )

In the '68 Comeback Special, what are the names of the 4 men who joined Elvis on stage for the 'Sit Down' jam session?

And for a bonus point, can you name the tambourine playing friend who was sitting ringside? A clue is, he had appeared in some of Elvis' films as his stand in ;)

the 4 guys were -

Scotty Moore

Charlie Hodge

DJ Fontana

Alan Fortas

not a 100% onthe tambourine player but i think it was Lance LeGault

I won't be around later to find out if it's right, so someone else can post if it is :D
