a simple groovy track what's not to like, the final third of this is glorious tho

this was definitely NOT what I expected from Kiesza, but I think I like it? Needs a few more listens, but I appreciate that she hasn't gone to generic tropical house.

I love that she doesn't simply re-produce the whole Hideaway thing. This is simply an instant grower for me!

Clearly her best song since Hideaway. QUITE LIKING.

Aka Jacques Lu Cont (who produced the decidedly Kiesza sounding Juliet - Avalon back in 2005) so I can see why Kiesza worked with him as a producer.

 

The track itself, it is on the poppy side of funky house (because of the vocal mostly) but I still do like it.

Her voice does go into Hanson Mmm Bop territory in the song at times unfortunately :lol:

I dont think her new track will do well. Sadly, its not very good and very forgetable.

It needed a more relevant vocal style, if the vocals were in a like Giant In My Heart or Hideaway style but with a funky instrumental like this with maybe a funky future bass drop like in Zara Larsson's Ain't My Fault it might have done well.

What a huge disappointment this was, doubt I'll be returning to it any time soon.

I liked her debut album, this song won't have me clicking repeat though unfortunately. Shame she faded so quickly.
