January 6, 20178 yr I'm not talking about having a predicition that's fine but why aren't people challenging the fact that a song that no one has heard of is going to number one and people saying the hope it sells huge and be number one for 6 weeks. I hope he takes the piss out of everyone and releases 3 mins of silence or a beep tone to challenge people who will listen or buy anything they haven't heard. Have we really reached a stage where a song is guaranteed to be number one and not one person in the world knows what it sounds like. Well people will have heard of it by the time it (likely) goes to #1 so I see no issue with that  Also, I know I'm hoping Ed makes #1, partially because we've had the same #1 for 8 weeks, 9 as of later on no doubt, so it'll be great to have a change, and also because I'm a fan of Ed's and chances are, I'll like it. Your point in the middle is totally irrelevant? People will be able to hear it before they buy...
January 6, 20178 yr Shape of You is so good. What a return! Can see this being #1 for at least 8 weeks. Castle on The Hill to then replace it at #1 ha
January 6, 20178 yr To be honest I'm glad he release a single, well 2 singles, as with an album release it would have been cherry picked to death, with him hogging the top 20.
January 6, 20178 yr #1 177k 3 weeks then replaces himself. He could be replacing himself each week 19 Jan Shape of You 26 Jan Castle On The Hill 02 Feb Shape Of You 09 Feb Castle On The Hill 16 Feb Shape Of You etc, etc, etc
