I saw someone say on digispy it was just over 1 million

Solid rating for Birds of a Feather, but why it was aired so early when it is a new Christmas special is baffling.

 

Thanks for the SPOTY figures. It underlines just how ridiculous it is for people to compare this year's voting figures with 2012. Not surprisingly, that year saw the show get is highest figures this century by a comfortable margin.

Doctor Who is actually 20k down on last year's Christmas Day rating. Strictly is 710k down but Call the Midwife is up 280k, Eastenders is up 390k and Mrs Brown's Boys is up 670k.

 

Emmerdale is down exactly 1m, Corrie is down 1.05m and Victoria is down 450k on the rating that Maigret got in its slot last year.

I've added in the peaks. Apparently Call the Midwife overran by a couple of minutes so the peaks for Eastenders and Mrs Brown's Boys may be a bit off and all three would need tape-checking.
