Eek at Big Brother. Under 1M with +1 suggests it'll come to an end for good soon which is a shame as it still has so much potential.

I disagree, I don't see any potential left in it and am not surprised people are switching off. The producers are just filling up housemates with booze every night to try to make it interesting. They're out of ideas and it needs to go.

Again I'd be amazed if Big Brother was on next year, the normal series that is. Very poor ratings.

omg that Wife Swap rating!!! Would have thought there would have been a bit of hype considering its the first Wife Swap episode in years eeek

Those ratings are all so low!

I'm guessing people are starting to be out and about now the weathers nice.

I'm glad Big Brother is flopping, this series is one of the worst yet!

I wonder if any of Channel 5's 'Benefits' shows has beaten Big Brother in the past?

Hot weather badly affected the BBC and ITV, although Blind Date returns with a solid rating - according to DS Forums, only Celebrity Big Brother and the civilian Big Brother debuted with more viewers.

Doctor Who received its lowest rating this series, although the share is the highest in four episodes.

Horrendous all round! Doctor Who also probably badly affected by the bizarre decision to prioritise Pitch Battle ahead of it - they were asking for an awful figure with this schedule.
Saturday is usually lower for BB tbf but regardless that is an awful figure, especially with the events of last night, you'd think that being publicized during the day would make up at least a bit for the usual Saturday deficit. I think that's one of the, if not THE, lowest figures for BB ever surely? :/
The lowest figure is like 500,000 when it went up against the London 2012 Closing Ceremony :P

Even the sunshine isn't going to stop Corrie - a 40% share!

Quite gutted Fearless dropped 1.66m; it's such a good drama. Beaten by some BBC factual, too.

I've added News at 10 due to the 5 minute f***-up at the start of the BBC broadcast - seems it affected their ratings and people crossed over to ITV as, last Tuesday, they rated 4.39m (26.9%) and 1.91m (11.7%) respectively. BBC News had a similar lead-in rating (Broken rated 2.78m) whereas ITV had a higher lead-in than this week (football got almost 5m).

DS are saying Corrie received its highest Wednesday rating (excluding BGT week) since 29th March. Another 40% share too!

Channel 4's Host the Week only got 400,000 viewers in the 9pm slot last night.

I thought it sounded a fun format but I watched the first half today and it wasn't really executed that well which is a shame. It reminded me of that improvisation game that was on ITV a few years ago that I enjoyed and would welcome a random return for though! (not Whose Like Is It Anyway, it was something else)
