June 24, 20178 yr Good Morning Britain is doing very well recently with getting close to 900k most of this week! Looks like ITV have finally found a breakfast formula which works for them.

June 26, 20178 yr Channel 4's Host the Week only got 400,000 viewers in the 9pm slot last night. I thought it sounded a fun format but I watched the first half today and it wasn't really executed that well which is a shame. It reminded me of that improvisation game that was on ITV a few years ago that I enjoyed and would welcome a random return for though! (not Whose Like Is It Anyway, it was something else) It was in interesting idea but a strange choice for the first host. I for one had never seen her before. There were times when she seemed completely lost and was unable to bluff her way out of it in a way a professional broadcaster would have done.
June 26, 20178 yr Host The Week's already been axed after one episode, joining Heil Honey I'm Home & The Melting Point among other British TV shows to suffer such an unwanted fate.

Jake Whitehall was due to do this week's show. I'm sure he would have been a better choice for the first episode.
June 26, 20178 yr Hopefully Big Brother can secure 1M tonight. Hopefully but I very much doubt it will.

In infamy with two of the most controversial TV shows, Host The Week there. Was it just two episodes they were showing?

June 29, 20178 yr Wow, that is some bumper ratings for Watchdog. Obviously the 'poo in Starbucks ice' story hit a nerve with a lot of people. How do those ratings compare to the opening episode of last series?
June 29, 20178 yr Author Wow, that is some bumper ratings for Watchdog. Obviously the 'poo in Starbucks ice' story hit a nerve with a lot of people. July 2, 20178 yr Yep, I'm very surprised at how comparatively well The Voice Kids has done! It was never going to be a mega-hit, but I'm sure ITV will be pleased at those figures for a Summer Saturday night show! It seems to be very stable so far too. Didn't expect it from a kids spin-off to a show that has perhaps had an upward struggle to maintain its presence as a big TV talent show.
