I thought about watching it Laura but then I started watching the Ch4 documentary on Myanmar , OMG , how shocking what is happening there , so many people killed including children ...really shocking in this day & age

I would recommend Innocent if you get a chance to see on Catchup - it's very exciting with more red herrings than an Agatha Christie novel. B-)

There was another programme about Myanmar on over the weekend. There is a lot of violence there now.

Yes to both. ^_^

Very English Scandal started strongly tonight. I love Hugh Grant in anything.

I can remember that whole thing in real time. Unbelievable that it's over 40 years ago.

Have you been watching the Chelsea flower show Laura, have you ever been to the real event, the whole place looks fab. I thought the Yorkshire garden was wonderful , it felt like you actually were in Yorkshire

I like plants & flowers, I do a bit for our local community here where some elderly neighbours live , makes the place look nice for them when they walk out their front doors. I get better each year with practice :P

Do you Tess? That's nice. Flowers can really lift your spirits I think. ^_^ I love gardening. Yes we are watching. We thought the Yorkshire would win best in show. So many brilliant ideas out there. If I didn't have to work I'd spend all day out in my garden.

Never been to Chelsea - been to Hampton Court many times-love it there. It's fun. Gets very crowded though. :)

Is Hampton Court all year round, I might check it out sometime . I was in Sydney years ago & visited the Botanical gardens & decided to sniff this exotic flower & it nearly ate me up  , I had allergies for ages afterwards

Watching Flog It on the BBC .. a lady brought in what were thought some African tribal art , spears, sheilds etc . The expert valued them as a group for £200-£400. ..they actually sold for £30,000 :o ...they were bought online by the Natural Museum in Australia where the bidder recognised one of the sheilds as being Aboriginal ... the lady has been given them as a gift & has them in her attic ...can you believe it :)

Gosh - we don't have anything like that in our attic.

They had something similar on the Antiques Road trip programme recently. One of the celebrity antiques guy bought a little bureau containing lotions and potions from Georgian times for a few quid and it sold for over £20,000. What was nice is that any profit they make goes to charity so they were able to make loads that week.

Laura. Are you able to get catch up on that BBC4 Panorama prog on Jeremy Thorpe...it is really worth watching

You have to admire Norman Scott for his tenacity & not letting JT get away with it...hard to believe that JT was very nearly Home Secretary & in charge of MI5 , can you imagine what would have happened to Norman . I was fascinated by JT's second wife Marion, she stood by him through thick & thin even knowing he was dabbling elsewhere

This programme was made 40 years ago & only updated & released now
