Sorry Tess - I only just saw this. I think she directed the final two. Excellent work. B-)

Yes we watched it and enjoyed. ^_^

I thought Madonna was "OK". A few dodgy notes but exciting to see her on there.

The Australia set was mental wasn't it?

Our favourites were Sweden and Denmark.

The voting at the end makes it very exciting but I don't think we deserved to be last. I felt sorry for the UK entry.

I went to see Madonna in Dublin a number of years ago, she was brilliant , I loved the whole show, it was great value for money, would have no hesitation in going again , I really do not know what people want nowadays , always moaning about something or other .

I felt sorry for the UK lad, I thought he was good but tbh it's difficult to get it right when it comes to Eurovision

They've managed to keep Eurovision moving along with the times though.

All the songs are decent now. Whereas a few years ago the songs and acts were seen as a joke, now there's some decent stuff in there. The fact that someone as global as Madonna is prepared to play there - says it all. Someone asked RW if he would be prepared to do it and he said he would but, that he never releases music in May.

The Handmaids Tale will be on CH 4 fairly soon Laura, it is a really good series

Is anybody watching Hatton Garden?

It's on over four nights.

I'm really enjoying it. I did see a Michael Caine film about it recently too.

Timothy Spall is EXCELLENT as always.

They portray them as really unpleasant characters. They haven't got a redeeming feature between them.

Only problem is - there is a disclaimer at the start that says this is a true tale although some aspects may have been enhanced for dramatic effect. So you spend the hour watching wondering whether that particular bit is true or not.

I would have thought the story itself was dramatic enough - five old boys carrying out one of the biggest jewellery heists ever, right in the middle of London - without having to enhance it. What more do they want in a story?

Thanks Tess ^_^

Excerpts from todays Irish Mail on Sunday supplement

Most people have this idea of me as mad Robbie or Robbie the crazy addict, but that is far from reality , I'm Maybe I'm ruining my image , I work hard . I have been sober for 18 years & drug free for 17-and-a-half years. The former TT star is growing old gracefully & focused on doing big business . He leans forward and laughs, tapping at my notebook , because Williams has always understood 'showbiz' is a game and even bad press can sometimes be useful. Maybe I shouldn't be saying this, Maybe it's best for people to think of me as bonkers Robbie - it's always a much better story , that's the one everyone wants to hear , People don't want the truth as the truth is often boring

Robbie wants to build his own empire of TV franchises all around the world , like Simon Cowell , just with a bit more style , & you know what I'm bloody well going to do it

If the full article does not appear online I will post another bit tomorrow

Excerpts from todays Irish Mail on Sunday supplement

& you know what I'm bloody well going to do it

and Robbie is a man more than anything else who makes things happen through the force of his personality and his willpower and energy.

If he wants something to happen - it will.
