It's really great that Ayda is doing something positive with it. I admire her for that.

They're having a lot of changes around aren't they? It feels like maybe it's popularity has peaked.

It's still a favourite show of mine, it's not often these days that you hear a live band on tv & really good singers , I love the live element of the show & the dancing is great ...

She died tragically young - not even half a life. -_-

Do you watch #fake or Fortune Tess?

About paintings - potential works of art?

I did watch a couple of shows but tbh I fond it boring , maybe it was the presenters , I prefer Sky Arts where they do Portrait Artist of the Year or something , much more my thing. Havr you watched escape to the Chateau . Dick & Angel Strawbridge who bought a castle in France & did it up , I just love that show , so relaxing to watch :coffee:

It's on CH 4 , I love it , really relaxing show to watch .

In real life she runs a vintage hospitality company from London & provides staff & catering for vintage weddings etc ( all dressed to suit the occasion ) , so romantic

They moved to France after buying a castle there & doing it up , it's now their home & they host vintage weddings there

Gosh - he is lovely Tess but I don't recognise him. I obviously never watched This Life.

There's not much catching my eye TV wise at the moment.

I think Poldark has just got so boring - I'm kind of glad it's ending.

I've been watching BBC Iplayer - I watched the whole series of Sense and Sensibility and now I'm on Little Dorrit. I love a BBC period drama. Matthew Macfadyen is in that - his voice

I'm off work this week just to use up some holiday so I have a bit of time on my hands - which is a really nice feeling. Hence I'm signed in on a Monday morning! :cheer:

Also on Iplayer because I'm a history geek - I go on their "Archive" bit - It's great for old programmes.

I wonder when BBC introduce their fee paying channel if they will take all the period drama's off IPlayer?

Have you watched Outlander Laura, that is a period drama, supposed to be very good , I cannot access the BBC Iplayer from here but I have the Amazon firestick & can pick up quite a few shows there

I was watching a documentary last night about Boris J's Mum, she is a lovely lady & a brilliant artist, You should try & find it on YT Laura, it was funny & sad at the same time , she suffers from mental health issues

No haven't seen Outlander Tess.

Is it British or American? We're trying to use Netflix more as we're paying for it but I'm not a massive fan of US drama. I prefer UK stuff.

It's British Laura , supposed to be very good , I have not seen it myself but a friend of mine loves it & it's the sort of drama that you like .. I am more a Star Trek fan , Downtown Abbey was not my cup of tea at all
