Jeffery Epstein killing himself in prison. How convenient for Trump and Prince Andrew. I’m sure they are grieving :(

Grieving so badly that the White House calls a full lid at 9.30am. No particular reason, no. Just got to grieve Trump's dear departed friend and how sad it is that he committed suicide before his trial of the century.

Ā

*distinctive clinks of champagne briefly heard outside Oval Office*

How does someone die in federal custody — a week after he allegedly attempted to commit suicide? Did they just decide to leave him to it?

Ā

There is never any justice.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but this sure is convenient.

Ā

I'm partial to a conspiracy myself :P I was shocked when I read about this a year or 2 ago on Crazy Days and Nights and the fact that nobody seemed to notice or care that Trump joked about him liking younger women years before he was arrested (the first time)

Ā

I think we've all watched enough Scandal episodes to know how easy it would be to cover this up! :P Especially now that Prince Andrew's name is coming up a lot in the news it's very suspicious timing. It seems Jeffrey Epstein and Princess Diana had a common enemy

I never thought I'd say it but I finally agree with President Tramp on something. Fake news!

I'm sorry, but baseless!? It's infuriating reading these articles saying it's a baseless far-right theory that it was anything more than suicide. It's common sense! We're all just supposed to believe he conveniently offs himself without saying a word about his former friends that are just as guilty as him which includes 2 presidents?

Ā

I'm really really struggling to even begin to imagine some kind of innocent explanation for this photograph

Yeah so that's most likely classic Trump projection. He always does it, fake emails, stoking war for political points, its like his classic fight or flight tactic is to accuse his enemy because then it can't be him. It's not a baseless far-right theory, everyone is saying it, and if anyone, no matter how powerful they are or what side of the spectrum they're on has turned out to have abused children, then they need to go away for a very long time.

Ā

In the meantime, FBI agents are only just now descending on the island so all evidence will be long wiped.

Exactly! I’m just shocked that the media are trying to paint it as ā€œoh, Trump’s at it againā€ when it’s extremely obvious that’s not the case and it’s pretty cringeworthy how desperate they are to stick to the convenient suicide story. Maybe not exactly Bill Clinton, but it’s a possibility and to be fair Tr*mp did warn us about this 4 years ago, so if he did have something to do with it (I don’t think he was on any of the flights or anything) I doubt he would bring it up so casually

Trump was way in with Epstein though. He's certainly not a bystander. By his own admission (in 2002, before Epstein was a formally charged offender) his personal relationship with the man has gone back decades. Him putting it onto Clinton is misdirection, sure, Clinton probably has been to Epstein's island, but Trump is more like a business partner.

Ā

Trump was charged alongside Epstein in a rape court case back in 2016. That was dropped but he is not innocent in this shitstorm. There are reports they shared numerous flights together. At the least he had knowledge, but I don't think we're operating with 'at the least'.

Yeah but they all have motive to, and I’m sure they’re all capable of it. I just think they have stronger evidence that Bill Clinton was involved in the abuse, I don’t think there’s proof Trump went to the island. I’m not saying he’s a good guy lol but just because he’s a horrible person doesn’t mean he’s guilty. My best guess though would still be the royals

It's impossible not to find this story insanely dodgy.

Ā

The theory that they ā€œletā€ him kill himself and just didn’t intervene doesn’t make sense to me. Why would he do that without exposing everybody else and taking them down with him? He obviously had nothing to lose

Who knows who else was involved in Epstein. I've seen loads of plausible theories, one thing is for sure he was either made to commit suicide or someone just let it happen. He managed to commit suicide in a high security prison and he was likely to sell out stories on lots of rich and famous people. Both Clinton and Trump knew him. So did Prince Andrew. There are probably countless other people that were close to him that maybe are not quite in the public eye as much but had shit loads to lose by him talking.

Ā

Surprise Trump tweets to his 60+ million followers he thinks an ex-Democrat President is involved and he is the reason he's dead. Complete fake news there. There's hundreds of people more likely to want Epstein dead.

I don’t trust anything the media say about this tbh. It feels like they’re a bit too quick to chalk this up to the guards incompetence, and I just don’t think he really wanted to commit suicide

So Trump has finally decided to do something about the rise of the far right in his country. Unfortunately, that something amounts to considering what action to take against people who demonstrate against fascism.

Oh great - *another* conspiracy theory is born...

<_< Use your brain

There’s nothing I hate more than the word ā€œconspiracyā€. It’s the most effective way of discrediting a theory because you hear the word ā€œconspiracyā€ and you automatically think tin foil hat. People are so easily manipulated, if something is labelled as ā€œoh just another conspiracyā€ (which the media is literally trying to do) nobody dares to question it. If you really think the guards just got lazy and allowed the highest profile criminal in the world who could implicate the most powerful people to be the first prisoner in the MCC to commit suicide in over 20 years, I really don’t know what to tell ya
