Hmm I've gotta wonder if half of my posts and my position on the posters' chart comes from me talking about the postings chart :lol:

This is great, my entire Buzzjack relationship w Michael is based solely on the Posters Chart :,,)

You send a relatively unknown song and you compete against others entries like Eurovision. Sounds simple but there's quite a bit to it actually, don't let it put you off tho.

It's not that complicated

 

sometimes you find new songs by accident and end up liking them and then wanna send them so there they are :)

It's not - in about 2 or 3 competitions you'll have it all figured out and it's like second nature :D It just seems complicated!

 

People send such classics like this:

 

 

We pay for the movie one time, and the money's gone for a lifetime; then you realise it's really gone :(

It's simple really!

 

1. Sign up your country here (you just need a name and a capital city)

2. Make a national thread here (this can contain anything you please, or just your songs you send to a competition. Bascially members can give song opinions in there)

3. When a confirmations thread gets posted, click the Google Forms link and fill in your song criteria

4. Unless your song gets vetoed, you'll see your song in the semi-final's which're typically posted about a week after the confirmations.

5. Send your votes for your allotted semi final in a 12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 format to the host. The semi results will typically also be a week after voting opens.

6. If you DNQ, your song is out, although the top 20 from each semi qualify for the final - of which you vote for in a 18,15,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 format. The final results will usually be a week after voting opens.

7. Repeat, and you can log all your results in your national thread.

 

Also, there're predictions, odds and EOY/YTD stat thread which get updated for every contest, kinda making BJSC seem more realistic and competitive - they're a lot of fun to follow (especially odds threads, it's always cool to see how people think your song will do).

 

BJSC is a lot simpler than it looks plus it's a great opportunity to do well in the Posters Chart - the semi's and final results threads typically get hundreds of replies in one night - sometimes the final gets nearer to 1,000 than 100 :D

Plus it's a great way to find new music, some of my favourites of 2016 came from BJSC and my favourite song of 2017 so far has also come from BJSC :heart:
