Elvis' grandson takes mother Lisa Marie and granny Priscilla clubbing in London:

We're used to seeing Britain's young royals frequenting London's trendiest nightclubs. But it was Hollywood royalty that partied in the capital last night.

Three generations of Presleys headed to Prince William and Harry's favourite party spot Mahiki and partied until the early hours.

Elvis's daughter Lisa Marie, ex wife Priscilla and lookalike grandson Benjamin chose the Mayfair venue for their family night out.

After a night of heady partying until 3am Lisa Marie, who gave birth to twins last October, looked far from impressed when she exited the venue to a swarm of paparazzi photographers waiting outside.

Lisa swiftly followed in the footsteps of her former husband, the late Michael Jackson, by covering her face with her scarf and a large pair of shades.

But Priscilla, 63, looked as alert and glowing as ever proving that she could still keep up with a club filled with revelers half her age.

All shook up:

The trio, which included Elvis's former wife Priscilla, stayed out until 3am.Benjamin, 17, seemed to take the whole circus of attention in his stride, which will perhaps come in handy soon.

When Benjamin was recently asked about the album at the Inspiration Awards for Women, at Cadogan Hall in Belgravia, he said: 'The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all.'

His mother, 41, who married his father, Danny Keough, a musician, when she was 20 and divorced him in 1994, is also trying to jump start her solo career.

Going the distance: Priscilla, 63, showed she could keep up with revelers half her age.

Lisa Marie is now married to fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, a guitarist and music producer, has enlisted the help of Sheffield musician Richard Hawley to relaunch her music career.

She made a surprise appearance on stage during Hawley's concert at the 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London earlier this month.

The two have embarked on a songwriting partnership in which Lisa Marie writes the lyrics and Hawley the music.

They performed their first song Weary - a lilting rock ballad with Lisa Marie on vocals and Hawley on guitar.

Lisa plans new life in London

Lisa Marie Presley - pictured here with her twin girls, Finley and Harper - has left Los Angeles for good to start a new life in London with her family.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/elvis1959/TWINS.jpg

Lisa has lived in Beverly Hills ever since her famous father Elvis passed away in 1977. But following the birth of her twin girls last year (2008), the star and her husband, Michael Lockwood, decided to relocate to Britain.

And Presley is planning to make the move permanent, because she loves the laid back lifestyle in London.

She tells the U.K.'s Hello magazine, "We have found the quality of life so much more enriching and fulfilling. The civility, the culture, the people and its beauty have reawakened me and have smoothed out some of my bleak and jagged views about people and life."

TV interview with grandfather Jesse (1958)

In the huge treasure chest with historical footage that is called YouTube, another diamond is found…The online archive from the American TV Station CBS has released a 3 minute interview with Elvis’ grandfather, Jesse D. Presley. Jesse is a guest in a talk show to talk about the release of his single ‘The Billy Goat Song’. It seems to be that he had still lots of ambition to make it as a singer at the age of 62. Off course, Jesse thought to make advantage of his famous last name because of Elvis’ popularity. ‘The Bill Goat Song’ was brought to the attention of the fans in 2006 when ElvisMatters released the song on CD and gave a free copy to all of the club members. The talk show host asks Jesse what he would do if his career became successful. The answer is ‘I would pay my mortgage and I will retire’. This answer may seem a bit strange, knowing that Elvis would not pay the house for his grandfather while he gave so many things away to strangers. But…Elvis had a good reason for this. Jesse left his family when Vernon was a baby. Vernon never got over this and Elvis always blamed his grandfather for doing this. The woman next to Jesse is not Elvis’ grandmother, but Jesse’s second wife. As known, Elvis’ grandmother en Vernons mother ‘Dodger’ was loved by her family and she even lived with them. It is remarkable how little there is talked about Elvis. His name is only mentioned in the last seconds, while the couple had no contact at all with Elvis.

Priscilla Presley set for West End debut:

Elvis Presley's ex-wife Priscilla Presley is thinking of performing live on stage for the first time in a comedy play, which is scheduled to take place at London's West End.

The 60-year old Presley feels the play may be an interesting opportunity for her to exhibit her versatility as an actress. She has films like The Naked Gun, and The Hayley Wagner to her credit and now she is all set to perform for the first time in front of a live audience.

"I've been offered a fantastic role that can't say too much about, but it's a comedy with a serious message. I've never really done stage before but that's the challenge of being an actress," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Unique picture of a young Elvis :cheer:

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/elvis1959/Unique.jpg

A newly discovered picture of a young Elvis with mother Gladys is posted in the TCB forum. There is no certain info about location and date of the picture. It is estimated that this is a 10-year old Elvis and that the picture is taken short before the Presleys left Tupelo. If you take a look at the fancy clothing, it had to be a special event that day. The couple with the baby next to Gladys is the family of Hubert Tipton. The name of Tipton appears in some biographies as one of the guys who taught Elvis to play guitar. The picture is discovered in the family archives of the Tipton family and can now be seen for the very first time in almost 65 years.
