Oops didn't realise someone had already said, but yes at this coming back so soon! March 29th :D

I think the third season may be the best one yet. So many hilarious moments and there really never is a dull moment. I love so many characters here and even the new additions were amazing (Tommy <3 JEAN <3333). The end scene was a bit weird but I'll hold judgement on that until S4 because idk what to make of it yet.

I love this show.

Yeah this was the best season yet for me - that ending!!!!!!!!!! Really makes me want to see S4 already. Tommy and Jean were incredible additions too so hopefully more of them, I also love Wynter.

I've seen some stories though that they made this ending not knowing if they had S4 so if it ended there, it wouldn't be left hanging, which I can see but it also leaves potential for S4 so I'm hoping it gets renewed again as it's just so so good.

Officially cancelled by Netflix :(

I'm so bored of them axing really good shows they don't really bother to promote, it feels like they really ham it up on certain shows and almost you're "told" what to watch, then others they make and just leave to fend for themselves, see ODAAT also. This might not have had the representation that ODAAT did but it was really different to a lot of other shows and such a great watch.

I'd seen a couple of things floating around on Twitter that this had been cancelled, but hearing it's official is sad. :( This really was one of the best shows they had on offer, so I'm baffled that it's been cancelled.

I agree with you Liam that it seems there's a certain bunch of shows they're willing to go all out for but any others that aren't in that group are just left to see if they miraculously pick up a massive following. I don't buy their excuses that there aren't enough people watching these shows because there's plenty cries of support when the cancellations are announced. Their recent announcement that they're going to be trialling top 10 lists in the UK too is just another way to promote shows that are doing well, and axe more shows that are sitting (likely just) on the outside. :drama:

Oh well more budget for another THRILLING season of 13 Reasons Why that we didn't need and 83 more rom-coms with Noah Centineo playing the same role
That is so annoying! I hate the way they cancel things, it wouldn't be so bad if they gave the creators one season notice so that they could at least end their shows in a satisfying manner.

at least with broadcast they have the ratings from during the season so they can prepare for the inevitable
One of my favourite Netflix shows :( The double blow of this and ODAAT is so crushing. I'm guessing their next move will be not to renew Bonding and Special (both of which also feature LGBT characters and are not promoted in the slightest).

I was gonna start Bonding but it's like wtf is the point in getting invested when they'll probably just cancel it

Gutted. SCD is one of my fave Netflix shows and it never failed to make me laugh :(

They need to either just stop putting as much original content out there and disappointing fans until the shows they pick up from networks die a death, or actually put some effort into promoting all of their own content (the likes of Riverdale don't need promoting because people will watch them regardless).
Sadly not a surprise, 3 seasons does seem to be the new normal for Netflix. It’s just a shame they didn’t get a chance to write the ending of S3 as a series finale. My favourite Netflix show by far (of what’s currently airing) so such a shame to lose it.

Well that's shit. Netflix make some really good shows and this was one of them. Sadly it's clearly not mass appeal and that's why it's gone.

File alongside Deadwood and Carnivale as brilliant shows that were cancelled too soon

They did make the ending knowing that it could be the last season, so they made it with the ending able to be either a season finale or something to build on. Whilst I can see that, the ending with

Joel becoming undead

really made me want more, more than it felt like a satisfying ending but I can also see how

that just leaves it as Joel and Sheila lived literally happily ever after together

I suppose that makes some sense at least, but I agree the storyline of

Joel becoming undead

really could have given them at least another couple of seasons. There's so many things they only just scratched the surface with that could have been explored a lot more too, i.e. a lot more people becoming undead, or a lot more people finding out about it and what happens after that, etc. :(

For a show that’s critically reviewed very positively and is a clear favourite on the service, it’s a massive shame Netflix has given it the boot. I really wanted to know what happens next!
