-Inténacjoná Relacjo d'Áskorza, the Federal Government agency 'International Relationships of Ashton', confirmed in a written statement released on gov.ash/ira a short time ago that Governa République d'Áskorza, along with ÍÁ (Ímmilagrati Áskorza - Immigration Ashton) and IRÁ, have adopted a neutral stance in the ongoing Danaelandan Civil War stating that it is an "Internal matter for the Danaelandan people".

 

In domestic news

St. Burbia has pulled out because Pupok are currently having a doping scandal and won't entertain cheats.

Florina is currently holiding a referendum on whether to remain a part of or leave the West Twikande Union. An important concern that has developed in the discussion is concerns over the amount of Buzzjack Mountain immigrants that are entering our nation.

The Federal Republic supports the dissolution of the WTU and will financially support those who wish to leave/bring it down.

We can confirm that according to a source from the Burbish Broadcasting Corporation that St Burbia have cancelled their match with Pupok. They have cited the recent doping scandal regarding substances apparently ingested through pouring by corrupt Pupokian sports authorities into Pupokian sports star's belly buttons.

The Buzzjackian Broadcasting Union, which runs BJSC says it is concerned about events during the last contest. They said that during that contest, there were reports of spectators apparently acting like they were in some sort of trance during the performance of the Buzzjack Mountain and South Danaelandian entries and losing awareness of their surroundings and bumping into each other, causing some minor injuries.

 

They are currently investigating the cause of this happening.

The spokesman for the Watermelon Club Arena, Calve N. Haryss has rubbished these rumours. Speaking to Mountain News he said that the WMCA has a 99.5% record for safety largely due to its excellent security team and high-tech drug screening.

 

Partygoers attending the WMCA for the BJSC final were indeed dancing very hard to the high energy trance entries but there have been no reported incidents of anyone being injured from any jostling that took place.

The BJBU would like to confirm that they have had no reports of any crowd trouble during the recent successful contest in South Danaelanda. The BJBU would also like to confirm that any such incidents would be wholly the responsibility of the authorities in the host nation to investigate and respond as appropriate. The BJBU has every confidence in it's host nations upholding the high security standards it expects and will not overstep and become a law enforcement presence in host nations. The BJBU is an administrative body concerned with the upkeep of the Buzzjack Song Contest and it's future prosperity.

A nation in mourning

 

A few minutes ago news broke out of the death of President Cecelia 'Alexandra' Burke in a tragic turn of events.

"It is with our biggest regret that we have to report that our beloved President, Ms. Cecilia Burke, has passed away last night.

The rumour mill has immediately started turning faster than ever and the most common rumour seems to be a poisoning by a Taahino

opposed group called Anti-Ginger-Clan. Immediately after reports broke out the clan started protesting the treaty again and burned pictures

of Burke. This lead to reaction from other groups and has caused several riots already.

 

The Federal Police had to be brought with water cannons and teargas to stop the riots. So far the damages are in the millions, due to

cars being lit, shops being purged and public property being ruined. The Yehesian government is currently struggling to get a hold

of the situation and has reached out to its allies for extra resources

New Alliance Formation

 

Following the re-introduction of the global Teams game show, in which representatives from different countries are forced to work with each other for $50,000 prize money each to their nations from the Buzzjack Broadcasting Union, the South Danaelandan president Sir Tim Bergling has announced he wishes to form an alliance with the other nations in the team which will henceforth be referred to as the MRS Alliance. The aim of the Alliance will be to support each others entries to help the poorer countries in our Alliance get some hits.

 

This month we will be particularly focusing on the #SaveSéyetana (#SS) and #MakeMedhelniaMagnificent (#MMM) campaigns. Whether this will result in either country doing well in this contest remains to be seen.

 

The countries eligible for the Alliance, should they wish to join it are; Pupok, Frandoot, Zanmatony, Terra Avium, Cor Lupus, South Danaelanda, Séyetana, #00274E, Ajanaeda, New Lexico, Medhelnia, Daehun, Joedonia, Espen, Flynnonda and Hendinia.
