October 10, 200618 yr I still haven't got round to downloading them yet, so I still have to hear them... might do that now, actually, seeing as how im not doing anything more productive with my time atm <_<
October 11, 200618 yr Okay, I searched and downloaded the above songs, and I have to admit, I prefer their newer stuff by far It's all too samey for my liking, although I did enjoy 'Ask Me How I Am'. Sorry man, but it's a thumbs down from me :(
October 11, 200618 yr Author i agree the new stuff is better i think the same myself,i just wanted to know peoples opinions of the older stuff and wanted to know if many people kknew much of there older stuff, thansks for checking them out though
October 11, 200618 yr No probs I know there's deffo a member who was telling me that they actually preferred SP's older stuff... can't remember who it was, though
October 11, 200618 yr i dont have them all...yet  absolute gravity - pretty good song little hide - dont have it 100 things you should have done in bed - i quite like it actually starfighter pilot - average ask me how i am - love it one night is not enough - dont have it i am working on getting all of these songs downloaded onto my pc but am having some computer difficulties
October 11, 200618 yr absolute gravity - Different to their recent stuff but still good little hide - Voice sounds different, think theres a vid to this too 100 things you should have done in bed - Pretty average starfighter pilot - Think thuis is about his nephew?? Its good though ask me how i am - Love this, seen the video to it too. one night is not enough - I heard this song first as a live version as it was on one of their single. So I suppose it got me into the song. I think they all sound very different to their newer stuff but I think you shoukld all check them out and hear for yourself.
October 11, 200618 yr Author great to see you post the below funky gal,i really think snow patrol shoul dput singles from the forst album as b sides on current singles as it woul dget more people into releasing they have other material behind them
October 11, 200618 yr I think they all sound very different to their newer stuff but I think you shoukld all check them out and hear for yourself. Yeah, I was quite surprised at the differences between their older stuff and the songs you may find on the new album It sounds almost as if they've started off heavy and with each new album have gradually got lighter. Like 'Eyes Open' is relatively light compared to 'Final Straw', which is light in comparison to the stuff I heard the other day. Perhaps they started off as a full-on alternative rock group and slowly made the transition into mainstream / indie?
October 11, 200618 yr Author if anything the older album have shown how much they have grown and formed there own sound as a band which i think its great progress
October 12, 200618 yr if anything the older album have shown how much they have grown and formed there own sound as a band which i think its great progress i agree...it shows how they have really perfected themselves although their older stuff is still amazing, the newer stuff is better in my opinion
