What do you guys think would have happened if Touch was the lead single?

I would have liked that it would get more international performances. Though following Touch with Shout Out just wouldn't work probably?

I do think the lead single campaign was done amazingly. Leaking the lyrics, getting that break-up buzz, etc etc, but I don't know, perhaps as a lead single Touch would have had more chances to be a international hit than SOTME did? What do you think?

I think Shout Out To My Ex would have worked as a lead and only a lead. Part of the appeal of the song is it's sentiment and statement. I think Touch would have done as well as SOTME in the long run as a lead but I don't think it would have opened with the same numbers. Touch rose up the chart as a post-album single in a way that I think SOTME might have struggled without its statement being 'We're back'/ 'this is about Zayn' pairing.

Yeah I don't think SOTME would have worked as anything but a lead. I just wish they were able to hold the international promo for Touch instead :mellow: especially with those basic SOTME performances we got

I prefer SOTME as the lead, it just feels right.
