So it would appear Danny is about to become the first member of McFly to launch a solo music career whilst they take a break (Tom of course is busy with the film and stage show of his kid's book, "The Christmasaurus", Harry has a fitness book coming out later in the year and Dougie is doing a bit of acting/modelling).

 

His official website has launched this evening: https://www.dannyjonesofficial.com I must say I'm rather excited about this. I know he's a bit of a Bruce Springsteen nut so I fully anticipate him to do something down that route music wise, but still with a bit of a pop feel.

They were supposed to be releasing their 6th album this year and I swear they've been in the studio writing for it, so I'm kinda disappointed this is happening :( no one would buy a solo Danny album anyway, no matter how good it is.

Surely if they want McFly to still be a thing they would need to release an album this year? Their last studio album was released in 2010! Many careers have started and ended since then.
